Kingaroy, Queensland: Man stabbed in the neck and left fighting for life after ‘random attack’

A man is left fighting for his life after being stabbed in a suspected random attack

Emergency services arrived at a private property on Alfred Street, Kingaroy in Queensland, just before 12.30pm on Sunday, following reports of a serious injury.

A 42-year-old Kingaroy man was found with a laceration to his neck.

The man was treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics before being transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a critical condition.

He has since been flown to Brisbane.

Another man, who the 42-year-old did not know, fled before police arrived.

Queensland Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious around the time of the incident to come forward.

They are also appealing to anyone with relevant dashcam/CCTV footage to come forward.

The investigations continue.
