The Spanish royals were spotted rubbing shoulders with tourists in Palma de Mallorca on Wednesday, with Queen Letizia pictured alongside husband King Felipe VI and their two daughters, Princesses Leonor, 16, and Sofia, 15, strolling through the historic Balearic island capital.
The family, who traditionally spend their lengthy holiday at Almudaina Palace, their official summer residence on the Balearic island, but have been seen on several occasions in recent days stepping out in Palma.
This morning, Queen Letizia, 49, cut a stylish figure as she opted for a stylish white shirt with pinstriped blue and white belted shorts for the outing, appearing relaxed as she walked alongside her eldest daughter, Leonor.
The elegant European royal accessorised her look with a £58 Ikat Tote bag in blue and white and a pair of flat £110 Logo espadrilles with a traditional jute sole. A pair of £160 sunglasses finished the look.

The royal family looked happy and relaxed as they enjoyed a trip into the city’s historic shopping streets, with King Felipe VI walking closely alongside his two daughters, who both wore traditional Spanish espadrilles
Princesses Leonor, the next heir to the Spanish throne, and younger Sofia – who now both tower over their mother – opted for pretty patterned summer dresses by Spanish brands, teamed with traditional Spanish espadrilles.
Leonor, who last month cheered on the Spanish women’s football team against Denmark in West London, donned a strawberry pink floral dress by Spanish brand Mango, with wedges by Macarena Shoes, also Spanish-owned.
The sisters are reunited for the summer, with Leonor returning from her UK boarding school to enjoy an extended family vacation on the Spanish island.
King Felipe opted for a relaxed pale blue polo shirt and beige chino shorts as the family walked down Carrer de Colom, a stone’s throw from the city’s famous cathedral.
At one point during the trip, Sofia and her mother wandered ahead of Felipe and Leonor, appearing to share a joke as they wandered through the busy streets

At one point during the outing, Princess Sofia and her mother separated from King Felipe and Princess Leonor, appearing to share a joke as they strolled.
At the weekend, the family visited the La Llonja summer craft market in Paseig de Sagrera, where they bought traditional Mallorcan produce and souvenirs. Letizia showed off her enviably tanned and toned legs in a £32.99 pink mini dress from high street brand Zara, teamed with matching espadrilles from Spanish brand Clooui.
Her mother-in-law Queen Sofia, 83, was every inch the glamorous grandmother in a patterned trouser suit, while her two teenage daughters Princess Leonor, 16, and Princess Sofia, 15, echoed their mother’s outfit choice by wearing Zara dresses.
After strolling through the market, the family were seen dining at Beatnik Restaurant at the Puro Hotel.
Princess Leonor, who is heir to the Spanish throne, looked in good spirits during her annual holiday. The 16-year-old is on summer recess from her studies in the UK

She teamed the outfit with a white Adolfo Dominquez shoulder bag, while Queen Letizia showed her support for local business and carried a pink ikat wallet made by a local business Feel Mallorca, costing €47
Proving their commitment to high street dressing, Sofia, 15, also opted for a Zara dress, donning a cream mini dress with beige stripes and a cutout at the waist.
And she too co-ordianted with her mother and older sister by finishing off her outfit with a pair of wedge espadrilles.

Princess Sofia, 15, linked her grandmother’s arm as they made their way through the night market in Mallorca, and perused the local souvenirs and products on offer
It was a recycled piece for Sofia, who was spotted wearing the same dress on the family’s annual excursion to Palma last year.

Last week, they visited the Cartuja de Valldemossa in Mallorca, which was built in the 14th century.
