King Charles III is getting his first bishop after being given exclusive ownership of the Queen’s beloved horses following her death earlier this month.

It was reported that Camilla would take the reins from Queen Elizabeth II, but it is Charles who will take on the massive racing operation.

Educator will be the first runner for the new king in the royal side on Thursday after the three-year-old was named to join Salisbury.

William Haggas, who trains Educator, attended the Queen’s more intimate funeral service in Windsor, along with fellow royal trainers Sir Michael Stoute, Michael Bell and Roger Charlton.

Tom Marquand, the husband of fellow jockey Hollie Doyle, has gotten the nod for the historic ride.

Educator is now listed as owned by ‘The King’ on the British Horseracing Authority website and has won the last two races.

It’s not yet confirmed whether Educator will spin in the late Queen’s iconic purple, gold and red silks.

Under Charles’ old title of Prince of Wales, his own racehorses ran in red silk with blue sleeves and a dark blue cap.

Her Majesty stood out for her passion for the sport, and has hundreds of horses to thank and breed over her storied life and involvement in the sport.

Racing observed a two-day period of mourning after her death and observed a day of mourning on the day of her funeral.
