Neither the King nor the Prince of Wales will meet the Duke of Sussex when he visits Britain this week, The Mail on Sunday has learned.
Prince Harry travels to Britain to attend the annual WellChild Awards, a charity of which he has been a patron for 15 years.
But a palace insider said the king had “no time in the diary” to see his son, while his brother Prince William is believed to have had no contact with Harry for months.
It is clear that an invitation to the annual summer gathering of the royal family at Balmoral has not been addressed to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex this year.
Harry has returned the keys to his grace-and-favor home Frogmore Cottage in Windsor and last night it was unclear whether the royal family would offer him any other accommodation during his stay.

Last week, the Duke appeared to criticize his family again in a multimillion-pound television series about the Invictus Games, the international sports tournament he founded for injured veterans.
In an interview for the TV streaming giant Netflix, Prince Harry launched another attack, saying he had “no support structure” to help him deal with the sudden death of his mother at the age of 12.
He said, “The biggest problem for me was that no one around me could really help. I didn’t have that support structure, that network, or that expert advice to map out what was really going on with me.’
Harry will be in Düsseldorf later this month for the biennial games, but will first visit Britain to attend the WellChild Awards in London. It is thought that his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, will not be accompanying him on the British leg of the journey.
Last year, Harry was due to give a speech at the WellChild ceremony, but he rushed to Scotland to be with his family when his grandmother the Queen was seriously ill.

This year he will return to the event on Thursday – marking one year since his grandmother passed away on Friday – where he will spend time with the charity winners and their families.
But it seems there is no plan for a reunion with his own family.
It is believed that Prince William has not had any contact with his younger brother since Harry released his autobiography Spare in January, in which he accused his older brother of pushing him to the ground, causing Harry to fall on a dog bowl.
