King Charles and Camilla share their birthday wishes for the Countess of Wessex

The royal family have shared birthday wishes for Sophie, Countess of Wessex, as she celebrates her 58th birthday today.

The celebrations come after the mother-of-two visited Connaught Junior School in Bagshot and Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot yesterday and was presented with a birthday cake, flowers and a card.

King Charles and Camilla wrote a post on their official Twitter account that read: “Wishing the Countess of Wessex a very happy birthday today.”

The mother of two visited the school yesterday for the opening of its new STEAM lab.

The Countess was treated to an ice cream cake in celebration of her birthday yesterday when she visited Connaught Junior School in Bagshot.

Sophie donned a blue striped dress and received a personalized apron yesterday at Connaught Junior School in Bagshot.
