Critics quickly compared the look to the powdered wigs worn by America’s Founding Fathers, such as Thomas Jefferson and John Adams.
“What’s going on here in the Constitution?” one follower wrote, while another added, “It gives…founding fathers.”
Another posted: “She’s preparing to write the Declaration of Independence.”

The ruthless trolls also drew comparisons between her hairstyle and objects such as a picnic basket, with some even drawing parallels to fictional characters including Elsa from Frozen and Queen Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones.
However, the stunner had many fans supporting her look, with one saying: ‘This is really cool. I need a tutorial on this.”

This isn’t the first time Kim has faced backlash for her braids.
In 2020 she was accused of cultural appropriation after sporting a tightly braided hairstyle on her then-husband Kanye West Fashion week Paris show.
Kim, who is half Armenian, was criticized when she shared a photo of her appearance on Twitter with users accusing her of appropriating black culture.
