Kim Kardashian’s performance in American Horror Story is SLAMMED by fans who claim she ‘ruined’ the show

Kim Kardashian’s performance in American Horror Story: Delicate has been negatively reviewed by fans of the series.

The reality star, 42, has taken on her first TV gig in the show in which she plays a sassy publicist called Siobhan Corbyn.

But it seems some American Horror Story fans weren’t impressed with Kim’s acting skills as they took to social media to express their disgust.

On X/Twitter, one user wrote, “I don’t like Kim at all #AHS,” while another added, “Kim sucks at acting. Why is she doing this? It ruined it for me.”

A third user wrote: ‘Guys I’m so confused, what’s the new place of AHS? Why is Kim Kardashian here?’

A fourth added, “I feel like I gave the new season of #AHS a brave, open-minded look, but… I can’t. Kim K is objectively a terrible actress.”

Another wrote, “Why is Kim Kardashain on AHS LMFAO.”

A sixth viewer wrote: ‘Kim Kardashian really ruined AHS for me, now I don’t even want to watch it.’

Reactions to Kim’s performance weren’t all negative, however, as some fans thought she did a great job.

One fan wrote, “I don’t care what people say, Kim Kardashian is doing a great job honey in AHS,” while another said, “Mad props to Kim Kardashian’s acting skills in #AHS.”

The businesswoman had a memorable first few lines in the episode titled Multiply Thy Pain when her character met her client Anna Victoria Alcott, played by Emma Roberts, 32, a veteran of the FX anthology horror series.

“Then tell the Daniels to suck my clit. She never misses a press day for a commercial shoot!’ Siobhan barked into a phone before hanging up.

“It’s exhausting being better than everyone,” Siobhan added as she turned to her client.

Anna complained about having to sign autographs on old photos from her days as a child actor.

“Your fans will send more updated photos the more you work,” Siobhan told her.

“Dede never let me do things like this,” Anna noted in reference to her previous publicist.

“Dede was a dinosaur and that’s why you fired her and moved to my company. Speaking of which, I pitched a profile to The Times and I’m waiting to hear back,” Siobhan said.

Siobhan’s phone rang and she told Anna that Andy Cohen wanted to interview her alone “without even a Bravolebrity in the other chair.”

“Anna, this would be your first evening show,” Siobhan reminded her.

“I’ll make it work,” Anna promised after a short silence.

‘Thank God. I thought you were showing early signs of dementia,” Siobhan said.

Siobhan then asked Anna, who was in the middle of an Oscars campaign, to sign a doll of herself for a fan.

“They want you to sign his body,” Siobhan said.

“Are you serious?” Anna asked.

‘Yes. Fans are weird,” Siobhan said.

“Her torso is so disproportionately small that my name doesn’t fit,” Anna said.

“Then parf it,” said Siobhan.

“I feel like I’m doing violence to myself,” Anna said.

“That’s called being an actress,” Siobhan said.

Siobhan then pointed to the doll in Anna’s bag and Anna claimed she didn’t put it there.

‘Oh my God. You need a nap,” Siobhan told her.

They were then shown taking a walk together when Siobhan learned that Anna was undergoing IVF treatment to become pregnant by her husband Dexter Harding (Matt Czuchry).

“I’m so freaking excited for you,” Siobhan said.

“Okay, nothing’s happened yet,” Anna said.

“But it will happen,” Siobhan assured her.

“We’re not sure,” Anna said.

Siobhan, holding her arm, reminded Anna of the positives in her life and urged her to focus on the good.

Anna asked if it was difficult to talk to her about her IVF journey, as Siobhan’s attempts to conceive through IVF were unsuccessful.

‘Your joy is my joy. You are my best friend. Meeting you at that IVF support group was the only godforsaken thing I got out of that process,” Siobhan said.

Siobhan later watched proudly as Anna appeared on Andy’s Bravo talk show and made fun of reality star Tom Sandoval.

Anna briefly panicked after having a vision of a menacing woman in the audience and Andy asked if she was okay.

“It’s all good,” Siobhan told her afterwards. “You’re so much more charming than most people. On a bad day you’re like Hilary Swank on a great day, you know?’

Siobhan then got excited when he heard that they had just gotten a ‘maybe’ from the Time 100 list.

“F*** yes,” Siobhan said to himself.

Anna was then shocked to see a doll of herself with an ominous black X drawn on her stomach.

‘Oh my God. Andy is so funny. Those dolls are really making a comeback, I think,” Siobhan said.

“Ebay, honey,” Siobhan said as Anna shuddered and threw the doll away.

American Horror Story: Delicate returns next week on the FX network as Anna continues her gruesome IVF journey.

Kim currently stars in the Hulu reality show The Kardashians and previously starred in Keeping Up With The Kardashians from 2007 to 2021.

Her other credits include Kim Kardashian, 2007’s Superstar and the 2008 parody film Disaster Movie.
