Kim Kardashian’s Instagram flooded with snake emojis after Taylor Swift’s bombshell interview in which she claimed star ‘took her down psychologically’ amid Kanye West row

Kim Kardashian was flooded with snake emojis in her Instagram comments after Taylor Swift's impressive TIME Magazine interview was released this week.

Fast, 33, who was mentioned Time Magazine's Person of the Year, blasted Kim in her interview with the outlet for “psychologically putting her down” and forcing her to go into hiding during their long-running feud. She also subtly labeled the reality star and her ex-husband Kanye West as 'trash'.

In 2016, Kim famously tweeted, “Wait, it's actually National Snake Day?!?!?They have a holiday for everyone, I mean everything these days!”

The majority of the pop icon's next album Reputation, released in 2017, focused on her experiences during the ordeal – with an abundance of snake imagery used in veiled references to mother-of-four Kim.

In the aftermath of the interview, numerous fans referenced her feud with Taylor by posting the infamous snake emoji in the comments section.

It all came just hours after Taylor's Time Magazine Person of the Year interview was published, where the pop star dished about the dispute that started when Kim's then-husband Kanye West wrote a song with vulgar lyrics about the rising star in 2016.

He claimed Taylor had agreed to the referral, but after he denied it, Kim also weighed in and released what the pop star described as “an illegally recorded phone conversation” between the pair, which she claimed proved otherwise.

Taylor has now said that the public said it felt like “a career death”, adding: “Make no mistake, my career was taken away from me.”

As she dealt with the aftermath and the cruel toll it took on her well-being, Taylor told the newspaper: “You have a completely fabricated frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, that Kim Kardashian edited and then released to everyone to say that I am a liar.'

“That took me psychologically to a place I've never been before. I have moved abroad. I haven't left a rental house for a year. I was afraid to call.”

Although she didn't elaborate on where she was moving to, Swift began dating British actor Joe Alwyn in late 2016, and was rumored to have rented a house in London to spend more time with him.

During that period, she virtually disappeared from the public eye, something she says was a result of Kardashian and West's fallout.

'I pushed away most of the people in my life because I didn't trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard.”

Most of the pop icon's next album Reputation, released in 2017, focused on her experiences during the ordeal.

“I thought that moment of adversity would negatively define me for the rest of my life,” she explained.

Yet Taylor's career has only gone from strength to strength in the years that followed, while many of her opponents have suffered major setbacks, including Kanye.

The 46-year-old rapper recently lost a slew of endorsement deals after a series of anti-Semitic comments.

Kim has yet to comment on the furor and even took to Instagram to pose in shapewear to promote her brand SKIMS.

Taylor's feud with Kim and Kanye surfaced way back in 2009, seemingly out of nowhere, when 19-year-old Taylor was at the MTV Video Music Awards and accepted the award for Best Female Video for You Belong with Me.

Suddenly, in the middle of her acceptance speech, Kanye jumped on stage, grabbed the microphone from her hands and bellowed, “Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you and I'll let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time.” One of the best videos of all time!'

In an effort to defuse the tension, Beyonce later called Taylor on stage when she won Video of the Year for Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It), giving the country music star a moment in the spotlight.

But the tension only continued when the father-of-four humiliated the star again at the 2015 VMAs.

It seemed like the pair were getting along well, with Kanye joking, “Do you know how many times they announced that Taylor was going to give me the award because it got them more ratings?”

However, Taylor later revealed that his statement really annoyed her, as he publicly made it about ratings but privately asked her to be on stage with him because it would “mean so much.”

Taylor later told Rolling Stone, “I'm standing in the audience with my arm around his wife, and the cold ran through my body. I realized that he is so two-faced.

'That he wants to be nice to me behind the scenes, but then also want to look cool, stand up in front of everyone and talk nonsense. And I was so upset.”

In February 2016, tensions reached an explosive boiling point after Kanye referenced Taylor in the lyrics of his hit Famous.

Taylor took offense to the rapper's lyrics: “For all my South Side n****s that know me best / I feel like Taylor and I might still have sex / Why?” I made that son of a bitch famous.”

The accompanying music video also showed a naked Taylor lying next to him in bed – along with a slew of other celebrities – with naked Kim on the other side.

Kanye defended the line, claiming he had a conversation with Taylor beforehand about the lyrics in question, which she denied.

Taylor continued to accuse Kanye of lying about asking her permission to reference her in his lyrics, prompting Kim to release a partial recording of the conversation in question.

“I'm really glad you had the respect to call me that and tell me about the song as a friend. It's just a really cool thing to do, and a really good sign of friendship,” Taylor is quoted as saying.

Taylor hit back by claiming that while Kanye addressed certain aspects of the lyrics, she did not agree to her being referred to as a “b***h.”

Since then, the feud has continued, with veiled jokes being made on both sides of the divide.

More recently, however, Kim appeared to release an update during a 2019 appearance on E! talk show alongside sisters Khloe and Kourtney.

Host Andy Cohen oversaw a game called Squash That Beef in which the reality star dismissed the idea of ​​any lingering tension between her and the Reputation singer.
