Kim Kardashian will attend this year’s Met Gala, despite previous reports that she and her family were removed from the exclusive soiree by Vogue’s legendary editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
According to Page sixthe SKIMS founder, will be attending the Met Gala next month for another round of glamorous fashion and A-list socializing.
This new report comes next Page six sparked viral speculation that the event would go “Kardashian-free” as Wintour reportedly “crack the 2023 guest list.”
Kardashian made her Met Gala debut in 2013 with then-husband Kanye West, ending a rocky period for the reality star as she was famous for never scoring when it came to Wintour’s killer guest list.
Wintour’s alleged new selectivity comes after the event has been criticized in recent years for inviting a lower tier of celebrity, including some influencers.

Kim has attended eight Met Galas over the years since her debut in 2013, and last year was a big moment for her family as the Kar-Jenner clan dominated the fling.
The 2022 event marked the first time all sisters – Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie – were invited, as well as their mother Kris Jenner.
Kim’s first Met Gala performance with Kanye in 2013 was a social media frenzy, with many users comparing her jubilant floral dress to an old-fashioned couch pattern.
But the fashion icon wasn’t deterred by that unfortunate misstep, as she’s returned every year since then, nailing a succession of jaw-dropping looks.
Kim boasted the late fashion legend Thierry Mugler’s “first design in 20 years” when she arrived at the 2019 ceremony in a shimmering flesh-colored dress that hugged her curves and featured dangling crystals that looked like raindrops.
After skipping 2020 when the event was canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, she returned in 2021 sporting her sharpest look yet: an all-black Balenciaga bodysuit with a long train and a black mask that covered her entire head .
The bondage-style look was a far cry from the more traditional glamor she flaunted at last year’s ceremony when she wore the dress Marilyn Monroe famously wore when she sang Happy Birthday to President John F. Kennedy.
However, the move sparked outrage among some conservationists who believed the dress would be damaged if she wore it, although claims have since been made about whether the dress was damaged in any way.
