Kim Kardashian had a terrifying reaction to her Halloween decorations.
The reality star, 43, took to her Instagram on Friday to show that she “really went all out” when decorating her Calabasas mansion with creepy decor, but many followers claimed the props were too grotesque and even criticized her for the lavish expenditure.
“This is so terribly pointless and tasteless considering the real horror happening in the world right now,” one user wrote in the comments section.
Another said: ‘What a waste of money that could do so many things with. Waste. Read the room,” while a separate fan added, “The lack of awareness and compassion is mind-boggling!”
“You guys have gone too far, it’s actually uncomfortable to watch,” yet another critic insisted.

In the Instagram clip, Kim’s home was extravagantly decorated with skeletons, mummified hands, fake blood, dismembered body parts and all manner of gruesome decorations; even the tablescape looked bloody and expensive.
“If you’re deaf to what some parts of the world are going through, money can’t buy taste or morals,” one user replied, while another user interjected, “You’re so out of touch with reality. ‘
One user called the elaborate setup a “sick display of wealth,” pointing to the extended Kardashian family and their reputation for excess and prosperity.
“I can’t stand this family,” the user said. “Do you know how many people you could feed with the money you spend on this?”
Multiple users said Kardashian was “out of touch” in creating a Hollywood-level display of blood and carnage.
“It’s actually uncomfortable to watch,” said one user, while another noted that they “really pushed the boundaries here.”
One user suggested that the display of wealth was unnecessary and that Kim “should have donated that money to charity.”
Some commentators said the display was in particularly poor taste amid the recent spate of deadly events in the headlines, such as the war between Israel and Hamas, and a mass shooting in Maine on Wednesday that left 18 people dead.
“Considering what’s going on in this world, this particular display is incredibly tone-deaf and distorted,” said one user, while another noted that “people are literally dying right now.”

Not all people felt that Kim had overstepped the mark in her macabre display.
“I don’t understand why people are so mad at this lady for having money,” the user said. ‘What she does with it is her business. And what happens in other places is not an American issue either, it doesn’t owe anyone anything to get a handle on it.”
One user asked, “So because she has money she can’t decorate for Halloween? Are you all coming after your neighbors’ decor so hard? Some of you are ridiculous.”
Another person pointed out the big money some people spend on Halloween celebrations.
“Everyone is talking about her money like they didn’t just spend their car bill money on costumes and drinks last night,” the user said.
A fan alluded to Kim’s current role on the FX series American Horror Story: Delicate, in which she plays publicist Siobhan Corbyn.
“I’m not looking for delicate clues from an American horror story,” the user said.

The drama started when the SKIMS founder – who introduced a new nipple bra this week – shared a tour of the exterior and interior of her home in full Halloween decor.
Kim narrated the videos, saying, “These are the hands of all my children and our friends. We plastered all our hands,” pointing out that her hand is the one “with the nails” and her chef’s hand is the one with the knife.
“We had so much fun doing this, plastering all our hands,” she continued.
Bare trees made up of skeletons marked the entrance to the walkway to her front door, where an arch of skulls could be seen.
The catacomb theme continued as she walked into her home, “And then when you walk in, there’s more,” Kim said.
In the cream-colored hall, dust resembling cobwebs hung from various points in the ceiling, along with another arch of bones.
The mother of four then takes her 364 million Instagram followers on a stroll through her creepily decorated hallway. The long passageway is lined with scary-looking hooded figures and electric candles.
“These guys are pretty scary at night,” Kim says of the creatures that bear more than a passing resemblance to her ex-husband Kanye West.
She added: ‘Pretty creepy.’
In true Kardashian fashion, Kim stopped short of turning her home into an emporium of creepiness. She also built a very creepy haunted house in her backyard.
The eerie structure had boarded up windows, rising fog and a host of dead trees and vines.
“I really went all out this year,” Kim captioned the video.
