Kim Kardashian reveals why she continues to film her TV series after 16 years
Kim Kardashian was on the defensive during Wednesday’s episode of The Kardashians on Hulu.
The 42-year-old criticized that she doesn’t share enough about her personal life on the show and just comes by the series to get a paycheck.
The founder of SKIMS told Scott Disick and Khloe Kardashian that at the beginning of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2007, she felt like it was easy to talk about her personal life with whomever she was dating because she didn’t have kids yet had.
But now, 16 years later, with The Kardashians, it’s much more challenging because the stakes are higher – she has a difficult ex-husband in Kanye West and four kids who read the internet.
“I give a lot,” the billionaire stated firmly. “Khloe and I, we give real substance. We share every detail of our lives.’

The Siren added that she will continue filming the show and has no plans to stop.
Scott Disick takes the time to gently ask Kim if she ever wants to leave the show since it looks like he’s trying for a talk show gig.
Kim then comes forward strongly that she will certainly not quit her job anytime soon.
“We love filming, we love our show,” says Kim.
“I will always want to film and give it my all,” she explained.
Scott then says the obvious: “I think the show is the centerpiece of the whole franchise.”
In other words, no mega sales from The Kardashians, no SKIMS (Kim), Good American (Khloe), 818 Tequila (Kendall), Lemme (Kourtney), or Kylie Cosmetics.
That’s when Kim told fans in a confessional why she’s holding on after so many years, so much fame, and so much money.

Turns out she enjoys giving back to her fans.
“I just love doing the show because I see it as an opportunity to help people get on with what they’re going through,” Kim said, striking a sentimental chord.
“I mean the number of letters I get where people say you got me through this, how you pulled this off, how you’re handling this.
‘I love to show people a glimpse of what we do every day;
Khloe, who also sits on the big ivory couch, goes on to say that no matter what show they’re on, they provide the real meat of the series.

Not a heavy lifter on the series: Kourtney comes and goes as she pleases and often criticizes the show
Kim smiles and nods, making it clear that she and Khloe are best friends these days and have each other’s backs.
Then Kim pointed out that she gets the most push-back from anyone on the show — also on The Kardashians are Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie, Kris, and Scott Disick.
Rob Kardashian doesn’t film the show and remains a recluse as he raises Dream, his daughter with ex-fiancée Blac Chyna.
Kim then seemed a little annoyed: “I’m talking about wanting to lose weight and I’ve been mistreated. I am the face of all that criticism.’
Kim wraps up the discussion by acknowledging that reality TV has made the family who they are today.
“Our show made us, I will always want to give everything, I will always want to film and give what I can,” the designer concluded.
