Kim Kardashian reminisces about her first ever cover shoot for dog magazine K9 and marvels at how she ‘scammed’ her way into Hollywood’s ‘cool’ club

Kim Kardashian talks about her very first photo shoot for a dog publication called K9 Magazine on The Kardashians season 4 finale.

The family — except for Kourtney — celebrated Scott Disick’s 40th birthday at the top of the episode, as family members raised toasts.

After Khloe gave a heartfelt speech, Kim — who recently promoted the annual sale of her shapewear SKIMS — raised her glass to Disick.

I’ve known Scott for 19 years. Scott has supported me through thick and thin because that’s who you are,” as Scott jokes, “I’ve loved you through thick… and thin.”

Kim adds, “You were with me through every stage,” while Scott adds, “When you were on the cover of Dog Fancy,” as Khloe corrects, “it’s called K9 Magazine.”

Kim jokes: ‘Anything for a cover. If anyone wants to know what my first cover is, K9 Magazine,” as they show Kim on the cover of the magazine with a cute dog.

Scott adds, “And I was like, you don’t like dogs. And now you’re a lawyer, cover model for Vogue.’

Kim adds, “Guys, we cheated the system. We did it. Whatever it is, we figured it out and did it. We’ve worked hard.’

Kim adds confessionally, “Scott is my motivator. He’ll always say, ‘God, can you believe you did it,’ and I’ll say, ‘I can’t. This is crazy!’

They bring out a white cake with a heart that says ‘The Lord is 40’ as they all sing Happy Birthday to Disick.

“We shouldn’t be here, you know. How did we end up at this cool party? We weren’t the cool kids, how did we do that?’ Kim adds confession.

Kim goes on to confess, “Scott’s birthday party was so much fun, but I have to get ready and go back to New York. I’m filming American Horror Story. No days off.’

Kim spent most of the episode in New York City filming her role as Siobhan in the FX series American Horror Story.

Chatting to co-star Emma Roberts on set, she says: ‘I wrote to all my sisters today, my mother and everyone and I said, ‘Guys, I just want you to be very grateful. These are really long hours. You must be really lucky that you have to roll out of bed and film in your damn house,” as Emma starts laughing.

Kim adds, “with makeup, without makeup, whatever you want to do, it’s so… it’s a lot of work,” as Emma admits, “it’s definitely a different animal.”

Kim adds confessionally, “I have like eight days of full back-to-back work,” as Emma says she’s going to get dressed, “so you’re not waiting for me.”

Kim adds, “I have so much respect for actors. These long hours are really crazy.”
