Kim Kardashian reacts to seeing her face with wrinkles as she tests out the aging filter with North
Kim Kardashian decided to test the famous TikTok aging filter with her daughter North on Friday.
The reality star, 42, tried out the hyper-realistic face filter – which shows a split screen of the user’s face, one at their current age and one with an older version of them – with a bare face, only a few wearing gold eye patches.
The SKIMS founder stared at her changed face as she watched her wrinkles on screen with a hint of amused, trying to contain her laughter as she struck a series of poses.
However, unlike her younger sister Kylie, 25, who was freaked out by her results, Kim reacted more positively.
“I look beautiful,” she said, bursting into laughter. “Don’t look…” she continued, bursting into laughter again and unable to finish her sentence when North, 10 years old, joined her in the frame.

“Beautiful award ✨” Kim captioned the clip.
However, she was appalled by the fact that while her face had aged on screen, North’s looked exactly the same.
“You don’t look any older!” she exclaimed, adding, “How is that possible?”
North laughed and replied, “No, I look older.”
Kim started the clip solo, wearing her long-sleeved taupe top from her SKIMS pajamas.
At one point, she swept up her locks, trying to discern how she would look older and with her hair up.
She then let her hair down and continued to strike some poses for the camera.
Kim’s positive response was an apparent shift in her approach to aging, after previously saying she worries about aging “every day” but prefers it to “not being here” in a 2017 interview .

Laughing: In the end, Kim laughed it off and didn’t seem too bothered by the filter, unlike her younger half-sister Kylie, who tried it out a few days earlier
Not impressed: Kylie, 25, wasn’t too impressed with seeing wrinkles on her face when she tried the filter earlier this week, stating: ‘I don’t like it’
Kim said The cut that while getting older brought with it a “sense of calmness and wisdom,” it still wasn’t fun getting older.
‘It’s also just bummed. There’s no easy way. [But] I’d take getting older not to be here.”
The Kardashians star was also more careful about wrinkles a few years ago, when she said “don’t smile” is the best way to avoid them around your mouth.
The adorable clip featuring North comes just a few days after Kim’s younger half-sister Kylie tried out the trend and expressed her disapproval after seeing what she would look like.
The lip kit mogul slowly took in the look of herself with and without the filter side by side.
“I don’t like it,” the socialite said, smiling and seemingly holding back a laugh at the sight of herself as an old lady.
The entrepreneur took a long pause and repeated, “I don’t like it at all.”
“No, no,” she said, grinning and shaking her head in displeasure.
Kim and North launched their joint TikTok channel – which has 16.3 million followers – in 2021 and are keeping comments on the videos turned off.

Kim shares a total of four children with ex-husband Kanye West, 46. In addition to North and Chicago, they are also parents to sons Saint, seven, and Psalm, four.
Kim’s marriage to Kanye came to an end in February 2021 before their divorce was finalized in November 2022.
