This is a major hindrance for those who want to move forward as it can make progress and limit the opportunities they can offer their children.

She continued, “During their probation, they are constantly at risk of being sent back to prison – not for committing a new crime, but for technical infractions such as missing a meeting with their parole officer.

“In celebration of Mother’s Day, I’ve partnered with @MichaelRubin to pay the remaining restitution of over 50 moms across the country to give these women the second chance they deserve.”

In addition to the support of their probation officers, it was confirmed that the women have actively focused on rehabilitation and success.

Kardashian thanked recipients ‘Danielle, Drew, and Tarlexus’ for sharing [their] stories’ with her 355 million Instagram followers.

She then urged her fans to do their part to “fix this broken system” by checking out REFORM Alliance.

‘But [we] need support to join the movement visit @REFORM and thank @jessicajackson,” she concluded.

Kardashian further expressed frustration with the “system trapping them in an endless cycle of supervision”, despite them wanting nothing more than the “chance to rebuild their lives”.

“It’s hard to fathom what these moms must be going through,” she said in a press release.

She urged lawmakers to “work to change outdated laws that unnecessarily keep too many people behind bars.”

“I will continue to highlight these important issues until things change.”

Drew told Kardashian and Rubin that getting her legal fees settled is “life-changing” and that she plans to “do so much with this newfound freedom.”

Tarlexus said it will “take a lot of stress off me financially and mentally.”

Kardashian, who was thanked endlessly by the moms, said she hopes “this little bit can just keep motivating you and push you to exactly where you’re supposed to be.”

The REFORM Alliance was founded in 2019 and consists of a “group of world-class philanthropists and activists.”

The organization was prompted by the controversial re-incarceration of rapper Meek Mill in 2017.

The hitmaker was convicted of violating his 10-year probation — a sentence he received in 2008, along with one to two years in prison for gun and drug charges — for allegedly having drugs in his system and violating travel restrictions.

Despite being vouched for by a prosecutor and his probation officer, a judge went ahead and imposed a prison sentence of two to four years.

Months into his incarceration, Mill was fortunate to have his conviction overturned after an investigation revealed alleged credibility issues related to the officer who arrested him.

Mill was also able to resolve his previous gun charges just a month later by deciding to plead guilty to a felony.

The REFORM Alliance recognized that if Mill – who has an estimated net worth of $20 million – can be wronged by the system, those less privileged are at even greater risk.

The organization is actively committed to ‘changing laws, systems and culture’ in the hope of creating ‘real paths to work and well-being’.

They have a number of high-profile figures supporting their mission, including music mogul Jay-Z.

Kardashian joins the agenda of the REFORM Alliance as she devoted herself to prison reform and overturning wrongful convictions during her law school years.

Her advocacy helped get convict and activist Alice Marie Johnson overturned the life sentence for a non-violent crime she committed in 1996.

Johnson was pardoned in 2020 by former President Donald Trump after commuting her sentence in 2018.

Kardashian – who failed the baby bar three times before passing away in 2021 – further revealed TODAY that she passed her law school with flying colors.

She impressively scored A’s on two of her exams, which she says has given her “that confidence to keep going.”

At the moment, Kardashian is studying state law, which she admitted was not the easiest for her.
