She skipped the Met Gala after-parties after her tiny waist caused concern online.
Fans were alarmed to see Kim Kardashian at the fashion extravaganza in a corset ensemble that showed off her incredibly slim waist, with one fan asking: “How many ribs have been removed?”
But it didn’t take long for the world to find out why Kim couldn’t attend the after-parties – she already had a scheduled performance in Europe the next day.
Kim, 43, was scheduled to speak at the 2024 OMR Festival in Hamburg, Germany, on May 7 and 8.
“From there I went to the plane,” Kim – who also recently appeared on Tom Brady’s Roast – explained at the festival, according to People. “I slept on the plane and here I am.”
Kim Kardashian had a very good reason to miss the star-studded after-parties: she was scheduled to perform in Europe the next day
She added that partying wasn’t really her thing: ‘It was really good not to go to all the after-parties. It’s not really my thing to go out, so it was the perfect excuse because I really wanted to come here.’
Proving she can really do anything, Kim landed in Hamburg at 3pm on Tuesday after walking the red carpet on Monday evening around 7pm New York time.
Germany is six hours ahead of New York, making her two performances only thirteen hours apart. The flight time from New York to Hamburg is approximately nine hours.
The reality star stunned on the red carpet where she showed off her impossibly slim waist in the silver custom Maison Margiela by John Galliano number.
But she opted not to attend raucous afterparties in the Big Apple and instead hopped straight on her private jet to head to Europe on a red-eye.
She still looked flawless as she arrived at Hamburg airport in front of her adoring fans and even took time to sign autographs after the long flight.
