Kim Kardashian is likened to Lady Gaga in American Horror Story: Delicate as she debuts dramatic transformation in teaser trailer

Kim Kardashian has been compared to Lady Gaga when she transformed her look in the American Horror Story: Delicate trailer.

Fans thought the 42-year-old socialite looked unrecognizable for her role in the anthology series’ twelfth season, in which she will wear a platinum blonde wig.

The star has also been lightened to make her skin look paler in the clip and her eyebrows have also been bleached to match her hair.

With the new season, she makes her debut and plays the lead role alongside American Horror Story alumna Emma Roberts32, and supermodel Cara Delevyne31.

The socialite plays the character of Siobhan Walsh as Emma makes her much-anticipated return to creepy series as Anna Alcott.

The teaser trailer begins with an introduction to the three actresses, all posing in matching silver wigs.

Similarly, they all lowered their round glasses, with a multi-eye design reminiscent of a spider’s eyes, to reveal their chilling looks.

Then an eerie voice ominously sings the classic nursery rhyme Rock-A-Bye-Baby.

A pair of clones in platinum blonde wigs and hospital gowns who dance eerily in a circle – which can be seen at various points between scenes in the trailer.

Emma is then seen lying on an examination table before her on-screen lover gives her a supportive kiss on the forehead.

The scene quickly cuts to Cara – who is dressed in a crimson ensemble and the matching lip combo – holding up a syringe filled with spider pups.

She was seen wearing a blonde wig with pointy bangs and extremely long, spidery eyelashes as she slowly smiled sinisterly.

After seemingly receiving IVF, Emma threw her head back and screamed in pain before the scene cut to a close-up of her pregnant belly and then a crib rocking on its own.

The founder of SKIMS is then seen in front of a large open window at night as the moonlight highlights her silhouette.

She rocked her pregnant belly, but when she slowly turned around and looked up, the baby belly turned out to be a huge spider body, while the long legs slowly stretched out.

A series of quick and short clips then showed a centrifuge, magnified and duplicating cells, then hair-raising amounts of spiders crawling out of an egg into a fallen bird’s nest.

Emma is also shown running away in fear as wall-climbing people chase her.

The close-up shot of Kardashian dropping her glasses was shown again with her name overlaid on the video.

At the end of the clip, she was seen rocking a baby wrapped in a blanket and patting the back with her hands in long latex opera gloves.

She wore a plunging halter dress and stood in the middle of a large cobweb to which all her lookalikes clung and swayed.

The cast also includes Matt Czuchry, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Julie White, Demi Moore and Debra Monk.

The first installment of American Horror Story: Delicate premieres September 20 on FX.
