The dress code for this year’s fashion extravaganza was Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty – a tribute to the controversial German fashion designer, known for his work with Chanel, who passed away in 2019.
Kim revealed during a chat with Vogue.com that she has been working on her look with Schiaparelli’s artistic director Daniel Roseberry.
“I wanted to drip in pearls,” she said of her look.
The mother-of-four revealed she wanted pearls because “what’s more Karl” than “iconic Chanel pearls,” she said during her interview on Vogue.com’s live stream.
