Kim started the ad wrapped in a cozy-looking fleece-lined jacket, but she quickly tossed the wrap aside to reveal the outfit underneath.
Her sleek outfit showcased the stunning 21lb weight loss she achieved earlier this year after going on a diet for the Met Gala.
The look was reminiscent of Sophia Loren’s black bodysuit from the 1963 classic comedy Yesterday, Today And Tomorrow, directed by Vittorio De Sica.
Yesterday, today and tomorrow consists of a series of vignettes starring Sophia opposite her regular film partner Marcello Mastroianni.

Sophia models the black shirt in the third vignette, starring as a prostitute named Mara and Marcello as her client Augusto, a wealthy heir.
In a movie that resembles Kim throwing her coat aside in the Dolce & Gabbana ad, Mara reveals her bodysuit by slipping off her bathrobe while doing a striptease for Augusto.
The reality star’s sizzling new Dolce & Gabbana ad is part of her ‘Ciao Kim’ campaign in partnership with the world-renowned Italian fashion brand.
After tipping her hat to Sophia Loren, Kim posted another ad showing off a towering blonde haircut reminiscent of Brigitte Bardot.

Kim was decked out in a sequined evening gown with a thigh slit and a voluminous black shawl when she entered a restaurant and sat down to a bowl of spaghetti.
She sat all alone at a small cafe-style table, sprinkled a little Parmesan cheese on her bowl of pasta, and had the waiter pour her a glass of wine.
She made sure to use her caption to hook up her runway show with Dolce & Gabbana, which was about to happen at the time during Milan Fashion Week.
Kim took the stage with both Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, who used to be a couple and have kept their business partnership despite their breakup.

Prior to her big fashion show, one of her retro-chic ads for Dolce & Gabbana featured Kim dressed as Marilyn Monroe, who is clearly a huge idol of hers.
Kim famously lost 16 pounds in two weeks so she could attend this year’s Met Gala in the dress Marilyn wore to John F. Kennedy’s birthday party in 1962.
Marilyn herself had to be sewn into the gold frock, which she wore seductively three months before her death as she shouted ‘Happy Birthday, Mr. President’ sang.

Kim denied allegations that she damaged the Marilyn dress, noting that Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!, which owns the dress, took her side.
“Kim Kardashian wearing the ‘Happy Birthday’ dress has been hotly disputed, but the fact remains that she did not damage the garment in any way in the short time it was worn at the Met Gala,” Ripley’s said.
The allegations were based largely on photos of the damaged dress that surfaced online, but Ripley’s cited a 2017 report that noted that “a number of seams have been pulled out and frayed.”

Kim also took a few slingshots and arrows about her weight loss, but she defended her decision on the Today show, saying, “Yeah, you know, I saw it as a part.”
She added: “I really wanted to wear this dress. It was really important to me. It actually taught me a lot about my lifestyle and my health and I’ve continued to eat really healthy ever since. I’m 21 pounds off now.’
She stated, “I’m not trying to lose weight, but I have more energy than ever. I left out so much sugar, a lot of junk food that I was eating – I didn’t even realize it. Lots of fried foods. And I completely changed my lifestyle.’
