Kim Kardashian brings sister Khloe to LA county’s state prison
Kim Kardashian considers it an ‘honor’ to spend time with inmates.
The 42-year-old reality star visited California State Prison in Los Angeles County on Monday, followed by lunch.
The SKIMS founder – who was recently seen in Poland – was with her younger sister Khloe, 38.
Their visit was part of REFORM Alliance’s Future Shapers Advisory Council, and Kim explained that she wants to use her celebrity platform to “change the lives” of those behind bars.
After the visit she said: ‘It is always an honor to visit the men and women who live behind our prison walls.
“Hearing the stories of people trapped in the prison system is what drives me to advocate for reform and find ways to use my platform to help change lives and laws.”

The Kardashians star added that she was “thrilled” to get the council – which was founded in 2018 by rapper Meek Mill, along with Rubi and Jay-Z, among others – in jail.
She promised to build the next generation of leaders.
She said, “Today I was particularly excited to bring REFORM’s Future Shapers advisory board to prison as well.
“We are building the next generation of leaders and influencers who will join us in this fight.”
The designer – who has North, 10, Saint, seven, Chicago, having sex and three-year-old Psalm with ex-husband Kanye West – is currently training to become a lawyer and is said to have met criminals in ‘solitary confinement’ in the US in January this year. Pelican Bay State Prison in Crescent, CA, where she reportedly had conversations with them about their mental health.
A source told TMZ at the time, “Kim spent a day at Pelican Bay State Prison in Crescent, CA earlier this week.
“Her focus was to meet with inmates in solitary confinement and talk to them at length about the toll that lock-up can take on their mental stability.”

Guests in attendance included Lil Baby; REFORM Alliance Chief Advocacy Officer Jessica Jackson, Co-Chair Michael Rubin, and Senior Director of Policy and Law Erin Haney; select councilors Hannah Jackson, Rondo Bonilla, Sophia Kianni, Zander Moricz, Jack Wright, Dixie D’Amelio, Heidi D’Amelio, Marc D’Amelio, and Aidan Kohn-Murphy.
The group was also joined by California Assemblyman Matt Haney (D-San Francisco).
The group met with incarcerated men at the facility to hear their stories, learn about the challenges that led them to the criminal justice system, and identify ways the system can better support safety and rehabilitation.
She also toured rehabilitation programs at the facility such as the PAWS For Life program.
The inaugural Future Shapers Advisory Council cohort will unite some of the nation’s leading Gen-Z leaders and influencers to learn about the criminal justice system, create content that helps educate their audiences, and partner with REFORM to promote awareness and action.

REFORM’s Future Shapers Advisory Board was created following an informative and inspiring Gen Z dinner hosted by REFORM Co-Chair and Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin and Kardashian in February to bring in the next generation of leaders within the criminal justice reform movement.
The group gathered at Rubin’s home in Los Angeles and listened to multiple speakers share their experiences with the criminal justice system.
Kardashian shared with Generation Zers that the best way to learn about the system to change it is to connect with the people most affected by it.
The visit to the prison is one of the cohort’s first assignments as members of the council. After the visit, the group debriefed over lunch.
