Kim Kardashian brings gunshot survivor to tears with surprise video after woman claimed SKIMS bodysuit saved her life: ‘I loved hearing your story’

Kim Kardashian sent a surprising video message to a female gunshot survivor, who claims a bodysuit from her brand SKIMS saved her life.

Nina Wiley, 22, who went viral in July after sharing her story of surviving gun violence, was appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show when the host surprised her with a message from the reality star, 42.

‘Hi Nina, I wish I was there in person. But I just wanted to say hello. “I loved hearing your story, and I’m just thinking about you as you continue your recovery,” Kim said, causing Nina to burst into tears.

The mother of four then encouraged Nina on her career path: “I also hear that you are studying criminal justice and I wanted to congratulate you. Study hard, it’s not easy.’

Kim concluded her post by saying, “I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with this, and I sent you some SKIMS products for you. I just want you to have fun today and I wish you all the best.”

Afterwards, Nina received two large bags of SKIMS goodies while thanking Kanye West’s ex-wife.

“Just knowing that she knows my name is crazy to me, like I’m a real person to her, you know,” she continued, breaking down in tears again, “And to see that she put in the effort into all of this . .. it’s nice to see that something so beautiful can come from something so terrible.’

Before Kim’s surprise message, Nina chatted with Jennifer about the night she was shot multiple times while leaving a New Year’s Eve party, and why she believes wearing SKIMS shapewear saved her life that night.

She described leaving a club and crossing the street to get food from a taco truck.

Nina then said she was in the middle of a shooting and was hit four times: on her left side, her right side, the center of her spine and her leg.

“And I still have a bullet in me,” she told a shocked Hudson.

‘You do?’

“Right in my stomach, it’s the one that ruptured my bladder.”

She then discussed her recovery, which included “physiotherapy,” and cried as she remembered being unable to go to the toilet or walk.

Hudson then asked why Nina believed SKIMS helped save her life.

“I think I made it a size too small,” Nina said as the audience laughed.

She then described how the shapewear helped with compression when she was shot, and “completely helped change where the bullet landed.”

‘Doctors said the bullets really could have killed me. People die if they are shot just once. I was shot four times.”

“So many things could have gone wrong, but that SKIMS guy. I truly believe it played such a huge role in keeping me alive. Especially because it took so long for the ambulance to get to me,” she continued.

“And doctors will tell you that the first thing they do in a situation like this is apply pressure. And I already had it locked,” Nina added.

In July, Kim was shocked to discover that one of her SKIMS bodysuits had saved a fan’s life, and she reposted Nina’s first TikTok video to her own Instagram Stories.

At the beginning of the video, Nina said, “Kim Kardashian saved my life.”

She explained, “This new year I was shot four times. The night I was shot, I wore a SKIMS shaping bodysuit under my dress. It was so tight around me that it literally stopped me from bleeding out.’

The fan then threw her hands in the air and said, “I recommend it. I’ll definitely buy some more. I mean, I should wear it every day. It’s like body armor for women.’

Towards the end of the role, Angelina looked off into the distance and added, “Call it fate or Jesus, but I’ll call it Kim.” I’ll definitely call it Kim,” she said in closing the nearly 30-second video.

The SKIMS founder himself simply added the word “wowww” in the text at the bottom of the reposted TikTok, followed by a praying hands emoji.
