A typical Saturday evening screening of director Martin Scosese’s Killers of the Flower Moon was interrupted by a fire alarm.
Eyewitnesses told it TMZ that all screenings at the AMC Century City theater in Los Angeles were suspended around 7 p.m.
The cause of the fire alarm was still unclear, although sources claim that AMC Theaters employees were less than helpful during the ordeal.
That particular screening was also introduced by director Martin Scorsese, although it is unclear whether he was there when the emergency alarm went off.
The news also comes after Killers of the Flower Moon grossed $23 million at the box office in its first weekend.

After the alarm was raised, there was no further communication about the ordeal to theatergoers.
Fans began pouring into the lobby, and with no information being communicated, some people apparently thought there was an active shooter, although that was not confirmed.
Eventually, a line formed as fans flocked to Guest Services, where fans were given refunds.
Sources added that eventually every moviegoer received a refund or a voucher for another movie, even the Taylor Swift movie, which is exclusive to AMC.
The emergency comes after Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio opened up about their working relationship on Killers of the Flower Moon in a new interview.
Scorsese, 80, is teaming up with two of his most frequent collaborators: Leonardo DiCaprio, 48, and Robert De Niro, 80, who have all worked together separately, but Killers of the Flower Moon marks the first time they’ve all been in the same film together .
They all spoke to CBS Sunday Morning, where the actors and filmmaker revealed their thoughts on set.
DiCaprio revealed that De Niro and Scorsese “are so incredible together. Their shorthand, the way they communicate with each other, it’s almost through sign language.’
He added that “it’s incredible to watch, and when Scorsese – who recently disavowed Marvel films again – was told what Leo said and asked what he has with Leo, the director said they had a ‘handwriting’ .

Leo admitted: ‘For me there are long discussions and fixing things up, a lot of rehearsals.’
The film is based on the novel of the same name by David Grann, which tells the true story of the many murders on the Osage Nation Indian reservation in the 1920s.
“Trying to be as truthful as possible is the only way to tell these stories,” DiCaprio revealed in the interview.
“We have done our utmost to listen to the Osage community. I don’t know if we did it perfectly, but they embraced us and were so incredibly supportive, so vulnerable,” DiCaprio added.
“You’re dealing with Native Americans and indigenous peoples, you have to make sure that everything we do is as authentic, accurate, or at least reasonably accurate, to the extent possible, and respectful,” Scorsese added.
DiCaprio also praised his co-star Lily Gladstone, who is already getting a lot of Oscar buzz for her performance and grew up on the Blackfeet Nation reservation in Montana.
“She brought so much, not just to her character, but to the entire film. She was a great partner to have,” DiCaprio said of Gladstone.
Gladstone added: “It’s a big responsibility and it’s terrifying. It’s hard being a Native actor and having so much to audition for. Yes, Marty showed me it was possible.”
