Killer nurse Lucy Letby went on a bachelorette weekend with her friends just hours before killing her first little victim.

Baby killer Letby, 33, was found guilty of murdering seven babies and attempting to kill a further six between 2015 and 2016 while working in a neonatal unit at Countess of Chester Hospital.

The deranged nurse injected air into the helpless babies, poisoned two of them with insulin, or forced milk to the little victims.

Just a day before her first murder, Letby was in York from June 5 to June 7, 2015 for a bachelorette party for her friend – and ward nurse – Jennifer Jones-Key.

A number of the Countess of Chester’s other nurses were traveling. They traveled by train and visited different bars, but ended up drinking cocktails at Vodka Revolution.

Letby enjoyed the trip to York with 16 friends, the Sun reports.

The women wore badges and the bridge-to-be, who also worked at the Countess of Chester Hospital, had a white sash wrapped around her.

They snapped photos at the train station and Lendal bridge while carrying pink balloons for the occasion.

Back in Chester, Letby killed Baby A – a boy born 12 weeks premature – on June 8 by injecting him with air.

Baby A had a twin sister, Baby B, whom the cruel nurse also tried to kill between June 8 and June 11.

Fortunately, the little girl, whose breathing apparatus had been sabotaged, was intubated and made a quick recovery.

After baby A’s death and his sister’s call, Letby took to Facebook to find their parents.

After Baby A’s death, which occurred during a shift she was covering, Letby said it was “terrible,” adding, “I shouldn’t have even worked that night.”

She sent disturbing text messages after she killed baby A and the other six babies, as well as after the attempted murder of six other babies for which she was found guilty.

She also kept a “treasure room” where she kept maps, transfer sheets, and CPR notes from her victims as a memento.

When her guilty verdicts were read in court, the serial killer wept in the dock as her mother said, “You can’t be serious. This can’t be right.’

During the trial, the jury also heard how Letby went out “drinking fizz and going to the races” in the aftermath of the murder of the seven babies.

When asked if she had a good time in 2015 and 2016 – in which the babies died – she replied: ‘Yes, there were times in those years when I had a good time. Yes.’

The court was shown photographs of the nurse holidaying in Torquay with her father, David, having drinks with university friends and on a day out to Port Sunlight with both her parents.
