Kieran Hayler holds back tears as he claims he ‘hasn’t seen the his for six months’

Kieran Hayler had to hold back tears on Sunday when he shared an emotional Father’s Day message on social media.

The personal trainer, 36, shares son Jett, nine, and daughter Bunny, eight, with former glamor model Katie, 44, but claims he hasn’t seen them in six months.

He told his Instagram followers, “It’s the first Father’s Day without all my kids. This is not just a post about me, but all those dads out there and moms who have been dads who didn’t have kids this Father’s Day.

‘It is heavy. I dropped my kids off on Friday expecting them to be returned on Monday and I haven’t seen them in almost 6 months. Not as it should be.’

“I’ve seen them here and there, but not good. False accusations here, false accusations there, “he is this and he is that, their household is this and their household is that.”

Kieran continued, “Parental controls are huge. It’s huge and I understand why dads give up the fight as the system is built for the mom and for the mom it’s not built for the dads and it doesn’t matter how strong you’ve been or how you’ve been absolutely everything , including pain, heartbreak and pain.

“You’re still there for the kids, no matter what happens on the other side, you’re still there.

“When it comes down to it, the system was built for mothers and that’s a very sad scenario. I’ve had Father’s For Justice supporting me and I look forward to the next steps with them.

This is the worst feeling in the whole world. You feel like no matter what you do, nothing has ever been good enough. No matter how hard you fight, they always come back for me and that’s what parental alienation is.”

An emotional Kieran apologized to his fans in the clip and thanked everyone for ‘sticking with him’.

“Every time you take one step forward, you take ten steps back and it’s hard, horrible and heartbreaking and I don’t wish that on anyone, but I’m a fighter and I’m not giving up. I will continue to fight for what I think is right and for the truth.’

A spokesperson for Kieran told MailOnline: ‘Kieran’s focus, as always, remains on the children and their best interests. To not have them yesterday, Father’s Day was heartbreaking.

Every word is true, Kieran sent the children for weekend contact with their mother, who did not return them on her own property.

“The public support Kieran has received since posting has been incredible.”

Katie’s representatives have also been contacted for comment.

In April, Kieran was arrested on suspicion of ‘child neglect and possession of firearms’.

Katie told The Sun: ‘I’m here to protect my children’, after the same paper revealed the firearm seized from Kieran’s house was an ‘air rifle’.

Kieran broke his silence after the arrest and took to Instagram with an informational poster about parental alienation.

It explained that it involves a form of “physical abuse” where one parent, through “coaching and persuasion,” eliminates a parent from their child’s life.

The message read: “In most cases, a previously healthy love relationship between the child and its parent and/or family is destroyed, resulting in severe emotional and psychological harm to the child.”

Then the alleged abuser’s “primary strategies” were listed, including limiting contact and making “false accusations” against the targeted parent.

By morning, however, Kieran seemed to be more jovial as he shared a video of his kitchen table covered in Easter goodies.

Elsewhere, Katie shared a cryptic post that read: ‘A person’s true colors will always show in time. You may be fooled at this point, but be patient and see what happens.’

It comes after MailOnline revealed that Kieran is “assisting police with their investigation” after she was “arrested on suspicion of child neglect and possession of a firearm.”

The TV personality was taken into custody by Sussex Police for questioning.

Kieran has not been charged with any crime, police told MailOnline.

A source close to him – who did not comment on the nature of the allegations – also confirmed that he is “assisting police in their investigation.”

The arrest is said to have taken place at his home in West Sussex. Neighbors told The Sun that police swarmed the premises over allegations that he had used the gun with “intent to instill fear of violence.”

Local residents claimed that Kieran was arrested around 4pm in a “very dramatic” scene.

“A police van and car suddenly pulled into their home’s driveway,” a neighbor recalled, adding that they later learned the “pretty scary” incident involved a gun.

In a statement to The Sun, Sussex Police said: ‘A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to incite fear of violence.

He’s been taken in for questioning.

“We will not comment further.”

Kieran and Katie, 44, were married for eight years after getting married in 2013. The couple, who divorced in 2021, had tied the knot after just six weeks of dating.

They allegedly had a messy divorce that took about three years to finalize.

Representatives for Katie and Kieran were approached for comment at the time.
