Thousands of brand new toys will be auctioned from just $1 days just before Christmas as a major toy retailer exits the Australian market.
KidKraft will auction off $800,000 worth of leftover toys and furniture after announcing all Australian warehouses will close.
The retailer said ‘everything has to go’ as the auction begins at 2pm AEST on Saturday, with customers gaining access to an online portal.
Prices start at $1 and there will be no backup stocks or reserves.
Lloyds Auctions will manage the online auction, which will be subject to separate auctions the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
More than $800,000 worth of shares will be put under the hammer and the full list of items can be viewed at Lloyd’s auctions’ website.
“LLOYDS AUCTIONS IS UNDER STRICT INSTRUCTIONS TO SELL EVERYTHING IN THE SHOWROOM AND IN THE WAREHOUSE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE,” it reads.
The clearance auction includes thousands of brand new items, including premium playsets, dollhouses and a range of other toys that make perfect Christmas gifts.

Lloyds Auctions boss Lee Hames said the auction was a ‘once-in-a-lifetime opportunity’.
‘All items are brand new and perfect for last-minute Christmas gifts,” said Hames.
‘More than 4,200 premium items are going under the hammer, giving families the opportunity to own these products at a fraction of the retail price.’
All items will be brand new and still sealed in their original boxes as the toymaker looks to shut down operations after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May.
Any lucky parents who can score a bargain can collect their belongings Lloyds locations in Melbourne, Sydney and south-east Queensland.
KidKraft was founded in the US in 1968 and has since built a reputation toys, play kitchens, dollhouses and outdoor play sets.
