Hosted by producer Rohit Shetty, Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 is perhaps the most talked about show on TV right now. On its July 28 episode, the reality TV show made headlines after contestant and rapper Asim Riaz got into a verbal spat with Rohit Shetty and team.
Asim was subsequently evicted from the show. The first episode of the new season had a lot of drama and clashes. Rohit hosted all the 12 celebrity contestants of the fourteenth season including Krishna Shroff, Shilpa Shinde, Sumona Chakravarti, Abhishek Kumar and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia among others.

The trouble starts between a task where Asim, Aashish Mehrotra and Niyati Fatnan had to collect flags from a seesaw. Aashish and Niyati completed the task and saved themselves from eviction. But Asim failed.
As a result, the others advised Asim to accept responsibility for his failure. However, Asim informed the team that the challenge was impossible and said, “Do it in front of me. I won’t take a rupee from you. If you do it, I won’t take a rupee, the camera is on.”
Asim got into a verbal altercation with host Rohit Shetty, during which sharp words were exchanged. He also called his fellow challengers ‘losers’ and was verbally abused by Rohit. Asim, who appeared in Bigg Boss 13 in 2019, later apologised after watching the rehearsal video of the task he had failed to complete.

After facing criticism for his ‘disrespect’ towards the Khatron Ke Khiladi contestants, producers and the host, his fans on X are now chanting ‘We are with you Asim’ and defending the Kashmiri model.
One fan tweeted: “Self respect always comes first. @imrealasim keep shining! Your strength and dignity are truly inspiring! WE STAND WITH YOU ASIM.” Another wrote: “Asim Riaz said it clearly: apologies should be loud and clear as disrespect. Proud to support someone who knows it’s worth it. PS: People disrespect in public but apologize in private.”
A fan also tweeted a clip from the show and said, “Rohit Shitty: ‘Sun meri baat warna idhar hi uthaake patak dunga (Listen to me or I will beat you)’. Sigma male Asim Riaz comes for him. @Colors shows us an unedited version of the episode. WE ARE WITH YOU ASIM.” Another said, “Asim Riaz is ruling the trends, with his fan base supporting him strongly. The hype around him in the show is real!”
Brother Umar Riaz supports Asim’s elimination from KKK14
Amidst this, Umar Riaz, Asim’s brother, has come out in support of Asim Riaz. Umar recently posted a cryptic message on his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle about “humiliating” other people.
“Don’t degrade someone to a level where their worst demons come out! After that, everything that happens is not justified and never will be! Love can do wonders for a person and hate can make a person their own worst enemy! I’m just saying!” it says.
