Thousands beg KFC to bring all-you-can-eat buffets back to Australia.
Fans across the country are clamoring for the fast-food giant to offer its popular offerings Down Under, which were popular in the late 1990s and 2000s.
A lively conversation ensued after a fan shared a nostalgic photo of one of the buffets to the Old Shops Australia Facebook group.
‘KFC. Bring back the all-you-can-eat buffet,” she wrote.
The South Lake store in Western Australia closed in the early 2000s.

The post quickly caught the attention of hundreds – many of whom had “no idea” the service was ever available at select restaurants in Australia.
“No way, never heard of an all you can eat at KFC, I would have been there every day,” one wrote.
‘Far away I’ve never seen KFC all you can eat? What the.. I can easily eat 10 zingers,” added another.
A third quipped, “I would never leave.”
Others shared fond memories of eating at the buffets.
‘1995/96 Jamisontown, NSW. 8.95 – I gained 14 kg in my second year of college,” one person wrote.
‘Ahhh KFC All-You-Can-Eat at Bondi Junction. $8.95 – where I chose to ONLY eat the skin of 6 pieces (because I could), gobble it down with unlimited gravy and then vomit proudly!’ added another.

Other offerings included “special fried chicken soup curry,” rotisserie chicken, tandoori chicken, pan-fried potato casserole, prawn gratin, paella, and “bread quiche”

For adults, there is also an option to upgrade your dining experience with an unlimited alcohol package for an additional ¥1,250 (AU$16.45).
Diners enjoy the original recipe fried chicken with 11 herbs and spices, create their own salads at the salad bar, and enjoy never-before-seen meals.
