Kevin Spacey smiles as he arrives in NYC nearly two years after his sexual assault trial acquittal

Kevin Spacey was spotted at JFK International Airport on Tuesday after landing in New York City.

The 65-year-old actor was all smiles as he pushed a cart full of suitcases after collecting his belongings from the baggage carousel.

For his travel day, he paired a bright orange shirt with an olive green zip-up jacket.

The House of Cards star wore black sweatpants and accessorized with a pair of tortoiseshell, wayfarer-style specs and a fedora.

He was driving with three check-ins and one carry-on when he went outside to wait for his ride.

This comes three months after it was revealed that he was back filming an undisclosed project in Phoenix for the first time since his acquittal in the UK over a year ago.

The controversial actor has seemed in good spirits since he returned to filming and his psychological thriller film premiered late last year.

In November, Spacey’s Italian indie thriller The Contract, in which he stars as a character called “The Devil,” premiered at the Cairo Film Festival.

And about a year and a half ago, a London jury found him not guilty of all nine charges against him related to sexual assault.

During his tenure as artistic director of the Old Vic theater he faced accusations from four men spanning more than a decade.

Of the nine, Spacey was charged with seven counts of sexual assault.

He was also charged with causing sexual activity without the consent of a person and causing sexual activity without the consent of a person.

Beginning in 2017, a series of high-profile allegations mounted and his fall from public grace was set in motion when more than thirty men accused Spacey of sexual assault or inappropriate behavior.

The two-time Oscar winner and once-beloved actor denied all allegations, insisting the claims were “insanity” and accusing the plaintiffs of “lying for money.”

Just months before his trip to New York City, he shared a post revealing he was returning to filming in Phoenix via a social media post on X, formerly Twitter.

Last October, he posted a photo of him in western-inspired attire, posing on a horse, with the caption: “A little beat up but honored to be back on the horse. On location in Phoenix.’

He also revealed that his Baltimore home had been put up for auction. The house was later sold at a discount at the foreclosure auction.

Explaining that he owes “many millions,” Kevin said, “Well, I mean, you have some sense of legal bills. I still have a lot of legal bills that I haven’t been able to pay.”

However, in his social media post in October, he said he had been ‘humiliated’ for more than a year after he was acquitted of sexually assaulting four men following a high-profile trial in which Sir Elton John gave evidence in his defence.

He was overcome with emotion when the jury at London’s Southwark Crown Court found not guilty on all counts.
