Kevin Spacey is back filming for the first time since sexual assault trial acquittal

Kevin Spacey revealed that he is back filming an undisclosed project in Phoenix for the first time since his acquittal on sexual assault charges a year earlier.

The 65-year-old House Of Cards actor – who ‘refuses to leave his $5.6 million mansion in Baltimore after it was sold under foreclosure – uploaded a photo of himself to X while on set.

The star – who was found not guilty of nine charges of sexual assault at London’s Southwark Crown Court – could be seen riding a horse around what appeared to be a desert landscape.

Spacey wore tan pants and a long black coat and hat on his head. As a finishing touch, he also wore a red scarf wrapped loosely around his neck.

In the caption, Kevin wrote, “A little beat up but honored to be back on the horse. On location in Feniks. @piersmogran.’

Spacey tagged Morgan in his latest post, just months after appearing on his show, Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Other fans, however, offered positive messages to Spacey, with one writing: “glad to see you king again.”

Another said: ‘Looking forward to seeing your new work,’ and one wrote: ‘Great to see you back on the horse and filming. Looking forward to seeing you wild west @KevinSpacey.”

His latest post comes just over a year after Spacey said he is “humiliated” after being acquitted of sexually assaulting four men following a high-profile trial in which Sir Elton John gave evidence in his defense.

The Oscar winner was overcome with emotion when the jury at London’s Southwark Crown Court found not guilty on all counts.

Spacey was accused of abusing his fame and power to carry out nine sexual attacks on four men during his tenure as artistic director of the Old Vic theatre. But he insisted the claims were “crazy” and accused the plaintiffs of “lying for money.”

On the steps of the court after the verdicts were handed down, he thanked the jury, his legal team and his loyal manager and long-time friend Evan Lowenstein for supporting him.

He said, “I imagine many of you can understand that I have a lot to process after what just happened.”

“But I would like to say that I am extremely grateful to the jury for taking the time to carefully examine all the evidence and all the facts before reaching their decision.”

“I am humbled by today’s outcome. “I also want to thank the staff at this courthouse, security, my legal team and Evan Lowenstein for being here every day.”

The accusations not only destroyed what had been a brilliant career in showbiz, but also had major financial consequences.

He was ordered to pay $31 million to production company House Of Cards, MRC, for alleged sexual misconduct on the set of the series. Variety.

But in a settlement, Kevin was ordered to pay just $1 million to the production company.

And earlier this year, in June, after the trial, Spacey took part in an emotional interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

He explained that he was close to bankruptcy due to paying high legal fees – and that his house in Baltimore had been put up for auction. The house was later sold at a discount at the foreclosure auction.

“I don’t know exactly where I’m going to live yet, but I’ve been living in Baltimore since we started filming House of Cards there.”

Explaining that he owes “many millions,” Kevin said, “Well, I mean, you have some sense of legal bills. I still have a lot of legal bills that I haven’t been able to pay.”

During the candid interview, Spacey admitted that he had also been on a plane with Jeffrey Epstein, Bill Clinton and also “young girls.”

He explained that he had been invited to South Africa on a humanitarian mission to raise awareness of HIV and AIDS.

“It was primarily to increase awareness and prevention of AIDS, and especially to help mothers with HIV get the medications they needed to not pass it on to their children, so I said yes, absolutely .’

Kevin said he’s ‘since learned who’ [Epstein] is” and also that the “plane we flew on this humanitarian mission was owned by Jeffrey Epstein.”

He further stated that in regards to Jeffrey, “I didn’t know him. I never spent any time with him.”

“I didn’t want to be around this man because I felt like he was endangering the president on that trip to South Africa because there were young girls there. We were like, ‘Who is this guy?'”

Later in the interview, the actor denied traveling to Epstein’s Caribbean island.

“There’s a big difference between not remembering that I met a man and a woman on a humanitarian trip where my focus was entirely on what we were there to do, and not remembering that I went to someone’s island.”

Since the end of the trial, Spacey has turned his focus to rebuilding his career in the industry.

In July, the star gave a masterclass in Armenia – and has other projects to his name, such as the film titled The Contract, although plot details remain under wraps.
