The couple had a private wedding in 2004 at his ranch in Aspen, Colorado

Costner has said in court filings that his estranged wife has refused to leave the Carpinteria home, even though she signed the 2004 prenuptial agreement in which she promised to quit within 30 days if they separated.

Baumgartner, 49, wrote further glowingly in the present tense about her life with Costner to strengthen her case to preserve a privileged time for her children.

“In addition to our beachfront compound, our family travels several times a year,” she said.

“We vacation in the Caribbean and Hawaii and travel to Aspen several times a year, usually in the winter and summer. Usually we host family and friends on our travels.’

Describing the Colorado estate, she said, “The Aspen estate spans 160 acres and is truly one of a kind. It is located approximately 10 minutes from Aspen town center and is surrounded by a national forest that cannot be developed.

It features several houses and buildings, each with extensive custom features. It rents for $250,000 a week during peak season. The property has two large lakes and is equipped with a dozen ATV’s and snowmobiles that the kids love to ride.

“Kevin told me he was once offered $250 million for the property. In any case, it is an extremely valuable asset.’

‘We have a team of staff who help with the demands of our large household and maintain the grounds.

“Our two oldest children went to private school through high school, and our youngest is still in private school, and we’re generous with their lifestyles. We are also members of several local private country clubs.

“I realize that our lifestyle is extraordinary. I appreciate how blessed we are to live this way.”

Baumgartner’s new filing for $248,000 a month child support reveals the Hollywood star brought in exactly $19,517,064 in 2022

Costner has said in court filings that his estranged wife has refused to leave the Carpinteria home, even though she signed the 2004 prenuptial agreement in which she promised to quit within 30 days if they separated.

“Christine has taken the position that she will not move out of Kevin’s separate residence unless and until Kevin agrees to various financial demands,” his own attorney wrote.

The court was told that he has already paid Baumgartner $1 million to move to a new place and gave her $200,000 in the early years of their marriage under the terms of the nearly 19-year-old pre-nup.

Baumgartner has hit back in her latest findings, claiming that Costner attempted to dupe her into diving into the money, thereby invalidating her right to challenge spousal support.

“I have no personal income and no assets in my personal name, other than a bank account Kevin opened when we got married over 18 years ago, and another account I had before marriage with less than $50,000,” she wrote.

“I recently learned that Kevin, without my knowledge or consent, deposited $1,000,000 into an account he opened years ago in my name, claiming it was paid pursuant to paragraph F.5.i of the prenuptial agreement.”

“Kevin is trying to enforce my concession that spousal support limitation is valid through my ‘acceptance’ of these funds.

“I believe Kevin’s goal is to get me to tap into this money, so he can claim I’ve waived my right to challenge the prenuptial agreement. I cannot make this concession.’

In other paperwork, Costner has asked the judge to seal the pre-nup agreement “in light of the confidentiality provision.”
