Actor Kevin Costner is renting out his 160-acre property in Aspen in Colorado for a whopping $36,000 a night.

The property, known as Dunbar Ranch, named after his Dances With Wolves character Lt. John Dunbar, is described as “the ultimate luxury retreat” and is located just minutes from downtown Aspen.

The mansion features 12 bedrooms, eight baths with views of Independence Pass and Aspen Mountain. If there are any problems, the caretakers are also on site 24 hours a day.

Kevin Costner, who recently won a Golden Globe, is renting out his 160-acre ranch in Aspen, Colorado, for the high price of $36,000 a night.

The property, known as Dunbar Ranch, describes itself as the “ultimate luxury retreat” and is located just minutes from downtown Aspen.

Costner currently stars as ranch owner John Dutton in the critically acclaimed Western against the awakening, Yellowstone. Costner won a Golden Globe earlier this month.

The 160-acre property went on the rental market last week and is available all winter long.

Costner purchased the land and property in 2000 and built everything into a picturesque haven.

The 160-acre estate is so large, it even has its own baseball field.

The ranch consists of 12 rooms, eight bathrooms and can accommodate up to 27 people.

Outdoors, the venue boasts a baseball field, sledding hill, and the ability to comfortably sleep up to 27 people spread across three buildings consisting of a main house, a lake house and a river house.

For the winter months, the ranch has a private ice rink, tubing rink, and dog sledding, while during the warmer months, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, and other activities are possible.

The estate also incorporates a lake where kayaks and paddleboards can be sailed.

While the price of $36,000 per night may seem like a lot, when divided among a full load of guests, it would be comparable to booking multiple rooms at a local five-star hotel in Aspen.

He currently stars as ranch owner John Dutton in the critically acclaimed Western against the awakening, Yellowstone. Costner garnered a Golden Globe earlier this month.

The win marked the first Golden Globe nomination for the show, which has been described as ‘anti-wake’, after multiple snubs. The popular series, which first aired in 2018, has aired 47 episodes across five seasons.

In that time, he also received an Emmy nomination (in 2021, for Outstanding Production Design for a Contemporary Narrative Program); and earned its first two Critics Choice Award nominations this year (for Best Drama Series; and for Kelly Reilly for Best Actress in a Drama Series).

Although he still frequently uses dunbar ranchbut Yellowstone’s filming schedule means he spends much of his time on other people’s ranches in Montana, though he typically rents out his Aspen home during the winter months.

The property was put up for rent last week and is being listed by Amy Mottier with Coldwell Banker Mason Morse.
