Kevin Costner gets a puppy! Yellowstone star introduces fans to precious pooch – after Christine Baumgartner divorce
Kevin Costner is the proud new owner of a precious puppy.
The actor, 69, revealed the new furry member of his family when he shared adorable snaps of the dog on his Instagram on Thursday.
‘Newest addition to the family. I am already in love with this special man,” Kevin, who recently finalized his divorce from Christine Baumgartner, captioned the post.
Photos captured the playful dog adjusting to life as Costner, from soaking up the sun to taking naps in his owner’s arms.
The first click saw the puppy running onto the grass as its owner looked on in amusement. Kevin stood by his huge truck, with a surfboard up to the roof.

The second photo showed the young pup falling asleep in Costner’s arms. Kevin seemed content as he held the dog.
And the third and final photo showed the dog resting on the ground. He looked absolutely adorable, with his bone-shaped name tag in view.
From the looks of his Instagram Stories, the dog already seems to be enjoying quite a luxurious life, with Kevin sharing a photo of himself holding his dog at a beachside estate.
The new addition comes just over four months after Kevin finalized his divorce from Christine Baumgartner, his wife of 19 years.
Baumgartner and Costner had first met on a golf course in 1994, when he was rehearsing for his 1996 golf film Tin Cup.
After splitting with his wife Cindy Silva that year, he began dating Bridget Rooney, with whom he had a child, but after they split in 1998 he ran into Baumgartner again at a restaurant and soon after they began to date.
They married in September 2004 at the actor’s 160-acre ranch in Aspen, Colorado, called The Dunbar, named after his Dances With Wolves character.
They share two sons born in 2007 and 2009 and a daughter born in 2010, and had been married for almost twenty years when Baumgartner filed for divorce in September 2023.

Costner is said to be ‘blindsided’ by the divorce, which was finalized in September 2023.
Last month, it was revealed that Baumgartner was dating financier Josh Connor, a former neighbor of the couple’s in Palm Springs.
Connor, 49, is a recently divorced father of three who became legally single in early January 2023, just five months before Baumgartner’s surprise divorce filing.

A source said American weekly Earlier this week, Costner had suspected that “something was going on between Christine and Josh.”
Baumgartner and Connor reportedly had a “close bond” that became a real “elephant in the room” when they were together.
She has since moved on with the financier – and former neighbor – after the pair were first spotted together on a trip to Hawaii last July.
Costner was also linked to singer Jewel in December, three months after a divorce settlement was reached.
