Kevin Bacon and Marisa Tomei showed their support for the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike when they were spotted joining pickets in New York City on Tuesday.
Bacon, 65, and Tomei, 58, were seen among the large group of strikers protesting outside the Warner Bros. Discovery Headquarters building in The Big Apple.
The actors worked together on the 2005 film Loverboy and the 2012 comedy Crazy Stupid Love.
They each held up a large sign with the Screen Actors Guild logo (“SAG”) on the top half above the phrase “SAG-AFTRA on STRIKE!”, both in white typeface against a black background.
Meanwhile, the lower half of the actors’ picket boards featured a white power fist in the center behind a gold background. The hashtag ‘#SAGAFTRASTRONG’ in white font was also included in the bottom half of the signs.
Bacon wore a black SAG-AFTRA t-shirt, dark blue jeans and a pair of red and white sneakers.

The Footloose star completed his ensemble with a gray colored baseball cap and black tinted sunglasses.
Meanwhile, Tomei flaunted her slim figure in a black tank top, baggy blue jeans and a pair of nude open-toed sandals that fastened with a strap at the back.
The Oscar-winning actress completed her look with a set of earrings and black sunglasses while sporting her long hair in a half-up, half-up hairstyle.
The star of My Cousin Vinny (the movie for which she won her Oscar) had her phone put in a small bag with a belt woven with black and white thread that she wrapped around her body.
Bacon and Tomei became friends after the two actors teamed up in the 2005 film Loverboy, which the former also directed and produced.
They also teamed up with Kyra Sedgwick, Bacon’s wife.
After the release of Loverboy, the two would reunite to work on more projects again, including the 2012 comedy film Crazy Stupid Love and in 2019 for the Live in Front of a Studio Audience Television specials on ABC, where they starred in several live , re-created episodes of the popular 1970s sitcom All in The Family.

The ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike began on July 14 and is the latest of Hollywood’s ongoing labor disputes. The WGA strike, with writers crossing the picket line, has been going on since early May.
It is the first time since 1980 that actors have entered into a labor dispute in America and for the first time that both actors and writers have gone on strike at the the same time since 1960.
During the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, entering its twenty-fifth day of protests, many well-known actors have shown their solidarity with striking actors by taking one (or more) of the following actions: expressing support for the strikes; joining picket lines in LA, New York City; and donating/distributing water bottles and/or food to the picketers.
