Kesha’s long, blonde hair was styled straight and she appeared to be wearing camera-ready makeup with black-and-white lipstick.

As an accessory she wore dark sunglasses.

The singer and songwriter is promoting her latest song by performing at various gas stations and supermarkets.

Joy Ride is the artist’s first song since ending her nearly decade-long legal battle with former producer Dr. Luke and leaving his label.

The couple reached a settlement last summer in a series of lawsuits and countersuits filed in 2014, when Kesha, born Kesha Rose Sebert, accused Dr. Luke, 50, born Łukasz Sebastian Gottwald, of drugging, raping and psychologically abusing her during their previous nine-year relationship.

The singer didn’t release music for five years during the impasse, but eventually returned to the studio to release Rainbow in 2017 and Gag Order in 2023, though she worked with other producers on those albums.

Well-known artists such as Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson and Pink were among the artists questioned in depositions by lawyers over the years.

In her statement, made public in 2019, the Bad Romance singer said she “formed my opinion of him and his reputation when I saw Kesha” in a back room of the studio, dressed in nothing but underwear, and that Kesha “told me he assaulted her.”

Clarkson and Pink have both said after their interactions with him that the producer is “not a good person.”

In her unsealed statement, Katy Perry denied being raped by Dr. Luke and said she felt “pressured” to support Kesha.

The singer also said she felt the producer was using her as a “pawn” in the legal battle.

Perry decided to collaborate with Dr. Luke on her upcoming single, Woman’s World, which is set to be released on July 11. News of the move has sparked a huge backlash among some of Perry’s fans.
