Kerry Washington has announced that he will publish his own memoir, Thicker Than Water, later this year, on September 26.
The Scandal actress, 46, who recently paid tribute to her close friend Oprah Winfrey in celebration of her 69th birthday, revealed to People that writing the book was “by far the most deeply personal project I have ever undertaken.”

The Little Fires Everywhere actress also shared a short clip on her main Instagram page to discuss the exciting milestone to her 7 million followers.
