Kerry Washington has been spotted out and about in Yorkshire wearing her military gear as filming began for Tyler Perry’s new Netflix blockbuster.
The 46-year-old American actress stars in the upcoming film Six Triple Eight, which tells the true story of the only all-black female WWII battalion.
On Tuesday, Kerry was photographed wearing a khaki army coat and beret and carrying a brown satchel while standing on top of a huge pile of mail bags in the hangar.
The star was later seen getting a hug from Tyler, 53, as they filmed the scene for the movie, and was also seen holding a notepad with several pages of the script as she focused on her role for the time being.
Tyler seemed in good spirits as he directed the scene and walked between locations on the Duxford Military Museum site.

The 855 women who made up Central Postal Directorate Battalion 6888 were given the mission of sorting a three-year backlog of undelivered mail to US service personnel.
They did it in half the time allotted to them, sorting more than 17 million pieces of mail and reconnecting American soldiers with loved ones back home.
The mail was stored in huge hangars and the scene at Duxford showed Kerry standing on a huge pile of mail, while his colleagues marched in front of the hangar.
The film, also starring Oprah Winfrey and Susan Sarandon, is expected to continue shooting in Bradford later in the week.
Six Triple Eight is being filmed in the historic Little Germany district of the West Yorkshire town.
Little Germany has hosted a number of major productions in recent years, including Downton Abbey, Emmerdale, Peaky Blinders, Gentleman Jack and ABC Murders.
Named for its large population of German merchants in the 19th century, the district is a conservation area known for its beautiful neoclassical architecture.

The Battalion was eventually tasked with screening 17 million items of mail, thought to be insurmountable, in half the time they had been given.
The group had to deal with racial discrimination, an unfamiliar environment and a nation torn by war, but they persisted in carrying on their work, getting mail from friends and family into the hands of American soldiers.
The unit continued to advance in the face of adversity with the motto ‘No mail, low morale’.
Earlier this year, President Joe Biden signed a bill that awarded the group the Congressional Gold Medal.
