Kerry Katona risks sparking another feud with ex Atomic Kitten bandmates as she sings hit songs on stage after bitter split

Kerry Katona risked sparking a new row with her ex-bandmates from Atomic Kitten on Saturday.

The TV personality, 43, performed several of the groups’ hits as she took the stage solo at the NPT festival.

Despite trying to resolve her feud with band members Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton Last year, Kerry appeared in her element as she sang on her own.

Kerry, who was just 18 when she joined the group, left the band in 2001 after becoming pregnant with her first child with her then-husband Brian McFadden – and was replaced by Jenny Frost.

The former bandmate performed their iconic hit Whole Again to a bustling crowd of fans.

In a seemingly subtle dig, Kerry took to Instagram to share stories of her singing on stage in a dazzling black jumpsuit.

Atomic Kitten reunited for the first time in 15 years when they recorded a special version of their hit single Whole Again for Euro 2020, with original member Kerry noticeably absent.

Kerry spoke about the group’s return at the time, telling one of her Instagram fans that she “never left” the band and thought they were on “a break.”

The media personality speculated the reason why she kept getting left out of their reunions, saying she believed they didn’t like her.

She said okay! at the time: ‘I was never asked to be part of it – I don’t know why! I feel like they don’t like me.’

The former pop star added that Natasha, Liz and Jenny had decided to ‘move on without her’, but added: ‘I wish them all the best.’

In 2023, Kerry made a heartbreaking plea to ex-bandmates Liz and Natasha, insisting they could put their ongoing feud to bed so they could be friends again.

Kerry wrote in her new! magazine column “life is too short” and she is “really sad” that she no longer talks to her band.

She wrote, “When something like this happens it reveals how I feel about my relationship with the Atomic Kitten girls.

“It’s really sad that we’re not talking. I contacted them so many times. Life is too short.’

Kerry, who was just 18 when she joined the group, revealed how the band fought back the day before she was replaced by Jenny.

She continued, “I remember some of the fights we had in Atomic Kitten back then. Once, Liz hit me from behind after we had a brief argument. I was furious and got my own back.

“I made her change in the toilets at SMTV Live, and then I stomped on her feet while we sang Whole Again on stage.”
