Kerry Katona has revealed she has received a worrying health update from doctors following her recent nose job.
The media personality, 43, went under the knife earlier this month to repair the damage caused during years of drug abuse.
But as she recovers from the procedure, Kerry told how doctors discovered she had calcified bones; the accumulation of calcium salts in body tissue.
In her OK! columnKerry said her doctor was surprised to see such advanced calcified bones in someone her age.
She wrote, “During my post-op, my surgeon, Dr. Raghavan, said they were having trouble getting the cartilage during the surgery because he had never seen anyone at my age with such an advanced stage of calcified bones.

“When he said the words ‘advanced stage’ I was shocked and the blood drained from my face because that’s what you usually hear when it’s something serious like cancer, so I was worried but that wasn’t the case.
“It’s just something I get painkillers for.”
The TV personality has previously admitted that cocaine was her “only friend” when speaking about her past drug abuse.
Kerry, who started using drugs at the age of 14, has spoken openly in the past about her bipolar disorder and addiction issues.
The star, who checked herself into rehab in 2008 and 2010, revealed she hasn’t touched cocaine in 15 years during an appearance on the MailOnline podcast, Straight To The Comments!
Speaking to presenters Josh Pieters and Archie Manners, Kerry said: ‘I haven’t touched cocaine in 15 years.
When asked if she has given up alcohol and drugs, she replied: ‘No, I like a drink, but Coke was more my poison and besides, I married my drug dealer because I thought I could get it a little cheaper.’
She added: “I wouldn’t say it was an addiction, it was more of a codependency. This was at a time when I had 40 paps outside my house, my mother was selling stories about me and I was married to a drug dealer.

In January she showed the results after an eyelid correction, in which the excess skin from the eyelids is removed
‘Cocaine became my only friend, it was all I had. Rehab didn’t help me get off coke at all. When I got out, I met my drug dealer.”
Kerry went on to talk about being diagnosed with bipolar disorder: ‘You see, mental health wasn’t that important back then, no one knew what bipolar was, I didn’t know, I thought it was a sport! So when I was told I was bipolar, no one had ever heard of it and then suddenly it became a thing.
‘My medicine dependence started long before I became famous, I was 14 and my mother told me it was sherbet and it was speed. I thought you did that with your mother. That was normal for me.
When asked how she went from drug taking to the successful pop group Atomic Kittens, Kerry said: ‘I have no idea, I had a great set of t*ts with me and was in the right place at the right time. ‘

In January she showed the results after an eyelid correction, in which the excess skin from the eyelids is removed.
However, Kerry, mum to Molly, 22, Lilly, 20, Heidi, 16, Max, 15, and DJ, nine, admitted her children weren’t happy about her having her eyes done.
She revealed that when her older kids FaceTimed her in the hospital, they “freaked out,” so she hasn’t shown DJ the results because it will “scare her.”
