‘It makes me miserable’: Kerry Katona reveals she’s gained 2.5 stone and climbed to size 14 – and plans to have another surgery after a botched tummy tuck
Kerry Katona has spoken candidly about gaining weight in recent months.
Speak with Closer magazine this week, the Atomic Kitten star revealed that she recently gained 2.5 stone and rose to a size 14 in clothing.
Kerry told the publication she is “miserable” and added that she plans to undergo corrective surgery in January after a failed tummy tuck.

“I’ve put on about two and a half stone and I’m now a size 14, which makes me miserable,” Kerry said.
“But it’s really cold now and the electricity bill is getting higher and higher.”
“I just saw that and thought it’s better to eat more to get more insulation on my body and save some money at the same time!”
Going under the knife: Kerry told Closer she’s ‘miserable’ and added she plans to have corrective surgery in January after a botched tummy tuck
Kerry said her stomach is a ‘mess’ after a failed tummy tuck last year and plans to undergo corrective surgery.
She said she’s a “flat suit from IKEA” and surgeons should “put me back together.”
In February, Kerry revealed that she “cries every day” because she is so unhappy with her appearance.
The former Atomic Kitten singer, 41, struggles to lose weight despite exercising regularly and eating “healthy” foods, and she admitted she no longer feels like she’s in her own body.
She wrote in her column for new! magazine: ‘I’m going for a consultation with Pall Mall Cosmetics this week to have my breasts checked after a breast reduction last year.

“I’m going to check to see if everything is okay. I really feel like my breasts have gotten bigger!
‘I still feel very uncomfortable in my own skin at the moment. No matter how healthy I am and no matter how hard I train, I can’t seem to lose weight. It doesn’t even feel like I’m in my own body! I look in the mirror and cry every day.’
The star – who has five children from previous relationships – admitted earlier that month that she was having “eating issues” and had entered a comfort food cycle that left her feeling self-conscious in front of her fiancé Ryan Mahoney.
She said: “I have relaunched my fitness brand M-Fit, which is very exciting. We have set up a new platform for weekly classes. I’m not feeling my best right now, so I’m looking forward to getting back to training.

‘I came in 2nd after overeating at Christmas and when I got Covid. I ate comfort – cookies are my downfall. I am really unhappy.
‘My legs are like logs! I’m even starting to feel self-conscious in Ryan’s presence. So my goal is to lose it.
“I definitely have problems with food. When I treat myself to something, I immediately feel guilty and mentally punish myself. And then I feel depressed and eat more!’
