Kerry Katona reveals that her mother SOLD her wedding rings from her marriage to Brian McFadden on eBay

Kerry Katona’s mother Sue sold her wedding rings from her first marriage to Brian McFadden on eBay.

The TV personality, 42, who was married to former Westlife singer Brian, 43, from 2002 to 2006, shared how her mother flogged her wedding rings after they fell out.

Following the ex-couple’s divorce, Kerry gifted the rings to her mother and hoped her two daughters Molly, 21, and Lilly-Sue, 20, who she shares with Brian, would one day have them.

However, Sue had other plans after the mother and daughter got into a fight over money.

Write in her OK! column, Kerry said, “She once said she kept them for her daughters, which I understand because I wanted my girls to have my wedding bands so they had something of their parents’ infatuation.”

“But I gave the rings from my first marriage to my mother, and when we got into a fight, she sold them on eBay.

“So unfortunately my girls don’t have any of the wedding days, but they have our genes. What more do they want?’

Kerry has five children from her previous three marriages and is just now engaged to her fiancé fitness instructor Ryan Mahoney.

In addition to Molly and Lilly-Sue, Kerry shares Heidi, 16, and son Max, 14, with Mark Croft and she has daughter Dylan-Jorge, nine, with the late George Kay.

It’s because Kerry recently decided to take her son out of school after a “heartbreaking and difficult” time with his ADHD.

Max has severe ADHD and finds the school environment difficult to work in.

The singer talked about her decision to take him out of school, saying “It’s not a decision they took lightly”.

Writing in her New! magazine column, she said, “It’s been a rough road for him and we’ve been through hell, but we all agree it’s the best way forward.”

“It has been going on for years and he was sent home from school as many times as he went in.

“Things go in one ear and out the other and then he gets really frustrated with himself and that affects his self-esteem.”

Kerry has decided to put Max on medication for his ADHD, but she admitted she was very hesitant to put him on it in the first place.

She added: “At first I said no because of the way I was treated when I was on medication, but it’s now come to the next step – it’s all been really heartbreaking and really difficult.”
