‘I’m in so much pain’: Kerry Katona gives health update from oxygen chamber after scoliosis diagnosis
Kerry Katona issued a health update on Tuesday following her diagnosis of scoliosis while on an oxygen tank.
The TV personality, 42, who has suffered from “chronic pain” for several years, explained that she sees a doctor for help with the condition.
Kerry shared a clip on Instagram and was seen wearing a mask on her face as medical professionals worked to increase her oxygen levels.
She dressed in a comfortable black hoodie and pulled her blonde hair back from her face as she underwent the treatment.
Scoliosis is a condition in which the spine twists and bends to one side and can cause pain in adults.

In the clip, Kerry explained, “I was recently diagnosed with scoliosis and I’ve been in so much pain, but I’m totally fine.
“I have come to this hyperbaric oxygen chamber and it will help me with my pain and I will stay here for about an hour and it will increase your oxygen level.”
Alongside the update, she wrote, “Don’t worry I’m in safe hands with @doctor.andrebd in the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber!!! So I was recently diagnosed with scoliosis and I’m here for some help with the pain!!’
Speaking to MailOnline, Kerry reflected on her recent health issues and shared how she has been diagnosed with scoliosis, a condition in which the spine twists and bends to one side.
She recently shared how she was left in bed after an arthritis flare-up, which she was diagnosed with in 2013 after 13 years of unexplained chronic pain.
Now she has opened up about being left in agony with scoliosis and said she had to beg her partner of five years Ryan to call her an ambulance amid the debilitating pain.
She said, ‘I’ve just been diagnosed with scoliosis, so I’m in really bad shape, but I have a great doctor now, I’m with him three times a week to get everything sorted out.
“I’ve lived with chronic pain for years and my problem is I don’t take care of myself because I never make appointments, I get diagnosed with something and never follow up because I have the kids or work.”

She continued, “After traveling all over the place and riding in a different bed every night, my body just gave up,” she continued.
“I have a really high pain threshold because I live with pain every day, it got to the point where I cried and told Ryan ‘get me an ambulance’.”
Kerry said she was “relieved” to finally be diagnosed with scoliosis, saying that while she had never heard of the condition, she was “relieved” to have an answer to her pain.
As she struggles with scoliosis, Kerry said she plans to lose two stone to make the condition more manageable, having already dropped three dress sizes.
