Kerry Katona is set to go under the knife again as she plans lower facelift and has been getting guidance from surgery-obsessed pal Katie Price

Kerry Katona has revealed she wants to start her new year with a new round of cosmetic surgery as she plans a lower facelift.

The former Atomic Kitten star, 44, told how she is ‘nervous’ about the procedure but has turned to her surgery-obsessed friend Katie Price for guidance and ‘moral support’.

Katie, 46, has long been known for her love of going under the knife and has undergone numerous procedures over the years, including facelifts, breast enlargements and nose jobs.

So it’s no wonder that Kerry has leaned on her friend for support, as the star notes in her latest! magazine column that she is both “excited” and a student for the surgery.

Kerry opened up about her upcoming plans: ‘I’m having my lower facelift in January, which I’m excited about – but I’m also so nervous

‘I always get very nervous when anything is done to my face, but I know it will be worth it.’

With the help of her friend, she continued, “Katie is coming to stay with me when I finish it for moral support, which I really appreciate.

‘She has had the procedure before, so she knows what I will be going through and will be able to ease my nerves and anxiety, while also helping during my recovery.’

She added: “Katie is in such a good head space at the moment and it’s great to see, I’m so proud of her. She has been a real pillar of support for me in recent months.’

A lower facelift, known as a jaw lift, is a procedure ‘designed to reduce loose skin around the lower half of the face (mainly the cheeks) and neck’, according to the NHS, and is designed to target the signs of aging to take.

Kerry and Katie first formed a close friendship in 2024, when they appeared on the third series of I’m A Celebrity, with Katie finishing in fifth place while Kerry won the show.

As well as helping her through the surgery, Katie was by Kerry’s side over the holidays and will spend New Year’s Eve with her best friend following Kerry’s heartbreaking split from fiancé Ryan Mahoney.

This isn’t the first time Kerry has gone under the knife or turned to an aesthetic doctor to change her appearance.

Last month she hit back at cruel trolls after they blasted her recent lip tweak and compared her to a ‘duck’.

The former singer went to the Oxford Natural Clinic to top up her lip filler.

A clip of the process was shared on Instagram, showing Kerry on a reclining treatment chair as she received the ‘natural’ treatment.

While in July, Kerry revealed plans for her fourth boob job, while also opening up about her upcoming facelift.

She said okay! at the time: ‘I would really like a lower facelift so I can get that chiseled jawline. And now I want a boob job too. It feels like my breasts are on my knees!’

In June, the star looked drastically different after revealing the results of her recent nose job, which left her in tears.

Kerry underwent surgery to repair the damage caused during years of drug abuse, but became distraught when the surgery left her no longer resembling her biological father.

Kerry previously revealed she was having a rib removed to make her new nose and that it would be used to replace cartilage ‘to make it look a bit smaller’.

She also revealed that she urgently needed surgery as she had ‘three holes’ in her nose due to her past cocaine abuse.

According to the procedure that Kerry wrote in her New! magazine column: ‘I burst into tears when I got home and saw it because it looked swollen and different.

‘I’m also a bit sad because I have the same nose as my biological father, so I think I’ve lost that link.’

Kerry used a detective agency to track down her biological father Ron Armstrong, but he died of throat cancer before they could meet.

He saw his daughter only once in his life, during a meeting with Kerry’s mother Sue when Kerry was just two months old.

Elsewhere, Kerry previously had a tummy tuck in 2021, followed by another operation on her abdomen in 2023.

She previously revealed she was convinced to have the operation after friend Katie, who also had the procedure, ‘gave her loads of advice’.

The media personality has also undergone multiple boob jobs and reductions.

While in January she showed the results after an eyelid correction, in which the excess skin from the eyelids is removed.

However, Kerry, mum to Molly, 22, Lilly, 20, Heidi, 16, Max, 15, and DJ, nine, admitted her children weren’t happy about her having her eyes done.

She revealed that when her older kids FaceTimed her in the hospital, they “freaked out,” so she hasn’t shown DJ the results because it will “scare her.”
