Kerry Katona has defended the x-rated subscription site OnlyFans, saying it has made her “a lot of money” and allows her to give her children a good life.
The former Atomic Kitten star, who charges users $24.99 to access her account, defended the platform after OnlyFans model Eliza Rose Watson erected a billboard promoting her raunchy content just meters away from a primary school.
Speaking on TalkTV’s Jeremy Kyle Live, Kerry, 42, who claims to have made more than £1 million from OnlyFans, stressed that she feels “empowered” by the site and sees nothing wrong with it.
When asked what she thought about the billboard placed near a school, Kerry said: ‘I think what children are taught in school is wrong. I read an article that children as young as nine are being taught about masturbation in school, which is ridiculous.
This is an over 18 site. We also have alcohol, which is advertised by the government and it is a drink for over 18 years. Nowhere on this billboard does it say that people have to sign up.’

Kerry further argued that people of all ages are exposed to sexualized content everywhere, noting that companies such as Ann Summers and Victoria’s Secret also create billboards.
She said, ‘I’m a woman, I feel empowered by this. I see more nudity on the beach when I go out with my kids. Should I stop taking my kids to the beach?
“I think the stigma associated with OnlyFans is what causes the problem. OnlyFans is not just explicit content. I can go on OnlyFans and subscribe to a fitness regimen or a makeup tutorial.
“Yes, there are explicit things on it, yes I do that myself. My children are aware of it. They’re older, they understand.’
Kerry added that OnlyFans helped her out of a bad financial situation and she sees nothing wrong with using her looks to make money.
She said, “This is a money-making business. I’ve been through bankruptcies twice. I started out as a glamor model, I wasn’t going to be a rocket scientist.
“I use my looks and my chest to get me out of town hall. For me, all I care about is what my kids think of me.
“I make a lot of money and create great memories and great adventures. It has given me opportunities to create this wonderful life that I have given my children.”

It comes after Kerry revealed that she was so short of money before recovering her fortune through OnlyFans that she sold the last remaining memento from her wedding to Brian McFadden.
The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate couldn’t pay her rent during the 2020 lockdown, so she sold an old-fashioned £15,000 jukebox for just £1,900 after her ex-husband Brian, 43, sold it to her from their time together keep it.
While she may have thrown away her fortune from her days as a pop star and reality TV regular, she has racked up huge sums after posing topless and in her underwear.
She explained The sun: ‘I was skinny! I had to sell my giant jukebox, a wedding present from Brian. It was the only thing I took, all I took was the kids and that jukebox, which cost like $16,000.
‘I had to sell it for £1,900 to pay the rent, and I thought, you know what, let’s get my shit out. I’ve done it before, so why not do it again? And it was the best thing I’ve ever done.
Kerry said, ‘I make a lot of money and create great memories and great adventures. It has given me opportunities to create this wonderful life that I have given my children’
“I came to the conclusion that God had given me two great qualities in my breasts and that I had better use them.”
She added: “Now I’ve made hundreds of thousands of pounds on OnlyFans.”
Kerry insists her fiancé Ryan Mahoney has no problem with her sharing revealing photos of herself online.
She shared how Ryan helped her get the shots for her first shoot, with her eldest daughter Molly, 21, also helping out.
