Netflix’s VP and Head of Drama Development, Jinny Howe, previously issued a statement via deadline to express her excitement about working with Cahn, who is the creator of the show.
She stated: ‘[Cahn] knows how to tell a great story, with character depth, commitment and surprises, all of which will bring them to The Diplomat.”
The first season of The Diplomat is currently scheduled to premiere on Netflix on April 20.
