Kentucky family are stunned to find adorable baby OWL in their Christmas tree after picking it up from farm
A Kentucky family got the chance to welcome a new kind of Christmas guest this year.
Michele White and her family brought home a live Christmas tree from a farm and placed it in the center of their home.
But four days later, the family discovered that a baby owl had already made their Christmas tree their home.
Lexington resident Michele White shared WDKY TV: 'I was shocked. I was so stunned. I have three dogs. We use this room non-stop: watching TV; the kitchen is here; no clue.”

Bobby Hayes, owner of Magic Carpet Cleaning, was at their family home while they were away and first noticed the bird after plugging in a device and seeing the tree begin to sway.
“The owl was literally perched on a lower limb here. It crawled further into the tree. It took me several minutes to even find it,” Hayes said.
He quickly clicked the photos and sent them to White, who said she was glad he was there to interact with the animal.
Hayes said he safely released the owl into the family's backyard.
“Everyone can have a Merry Christmas now,” he said.
Later, White exclaimed, “I would have left the house. The owl could have stayed without me. I didn't come home.'
But while the owl was a pleasant surprise for the White family, not all Christmas tree owners have had much luck with unwanted house guests.

Most recently, the Texas-based animal lover took to the video sharing platform to reveal she got a 'furry' surprise after setting up her fake snow tree
She captioned one of the clips, “I don't understand how this thing is in my house right now.”
The possum is seen sitting in the tree with its head peeking out.
'I'm literally going crazy right now. I have no idea how this possum got into my house and my tree,” Brett said between sighs.
She noted that she had tried to “get him out” but the animal wouldn't “let her.”
'I just don't know what to do. I don't know how it got in here, I don't leave my doors open.
“Someone help,” she begged at the end of the video.
In a follow-up video, she shared a close-up of the animal as it wrapped its fingers around the branches of her tree.
Later, Brett confirmed that she called animal control, but it took them “hours” to get to her house because she lives in a “small town.”
