A 29-year-old Navy sailor who died in a horrific road accident on Friday is being remembered as a loving father and fiancée.
Noah Aritara Tearoiti, known as ‘Noogz’, was killed when his motorcycle crashed into a bus in Kensington in Sydney’s east on September 29.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics on the scene, Mr Tearoiti was taken to hospital where he later died.
His family and friends have paid tribute to ‘the most wonderful man’.
“Noah was so happy all the time, he had the biggest smile and the best laugh,” his fiancée Tiarna Ivy told 7 News.

“We had big belly laughs every day.”
Mrs Ivy only gave birth to their daughter ten months ago and according to 7 News the couple are expected to get married in the Cook Islands soon.
Mr Tearoiti’s sister Tia took to Facebook to commemorate the life of ‘my beautiful and incredible brother’.
“Your girls are safe forever, Noogz, I promise,” she said.
‘I will always love you.’
Mr Tearoiti was born in Brisbane and lived there for the first eighteen years of his life before settling in Sydney.
He served in the Royal Australian Navy for more than 10 years and was known as an avid footy player, music lover and recording artist.
According to his friends and family, his two great loves were his fiancée and their young daughter.
“He was the best father to our daughter,” Mrs. Ivy told 7.
“He always called us ‘my girls.’

A GoFundMe page has been started to raise money for Noah’s family
Jacob Clifton, a close friend of Mr Tearoiti, has started a fundraising campaign in support of Ms Ivy and their daughter.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the GoFundMe page has raised more than $56,000 in support of the family.
“In a short 29 years, Noah’s impact on the world will never be forgotten, his dedication to service to Australia, including 10 years served in the Royal Australian Navy,” Mr Clifton wrote in a moving tribute to his friend.
‘He touched the hearts of thousands of people across Australia.’
An Australian Defense Force spokeswoman told The Daily Telegraph the death of one of their own was “deeply felt by the entire defense community”.
“The defense is focused on providing support to the member’s family and shipmates,” the representative said.
