Kenny Pickett’s beautiful wife – Amy – has taken to social media to react to the QB’s big trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, as originally reported on Friday.
A day after hearing news of the deal, the NFL WAG shared on Instagram, “Couldn’t be more excited and grateful!! Skooooo Birds!!’
She added in a separate post to her Story on Saturday: ‘Looking forward to our next chapter’ with a green heart. ‘All love.’
Amy and her husband QB, who married last year, are moving to ‘The City that Loves you Back’ after the 25-year-old Pickett was traded for a 2024 third-round pick (No. 98) and two 2025 seventh-rounders.
The Eagles will receive a fourth-round pick (No. 120) in this year’s draft in addition to Pickett.

Hailing from Ocean Township, New Jersey, Pickett grew up an Eagles fan and will now fulfill a childhood dream by supporting Jalen Hurts.
His departure from Pittsburgh, where he played five seasons in college before being drafted in 2022 as a first-round pick by the city’s professional NFL team, comes after the Steelers signed and traded free agent QB Russell Wilson ex-Bears QB Justin Fields. , last week.
The Steelers’ original plan for Pickett was to keep him around for training camp to compare him to Wilson, 35, for the QB1 role, according to ESPNwhich further revealed, “Internally, Wilson was seen more as the starting quarterback.”
But the report added that Pickett “preferred” to find new pasture after learning he wouldn’t be relied on as much as he was last season in 2024-2025.
Pickett went 14-10 as a starter, but struggled to stay healthy and be a difference-maker for an offense languishing near the bottom of the league. He completed 62.0 percent of his passes in 2023 for 2,070 yards and six touchdowns with four interceptions.

Pickett was first thrust into the Steelers’ starting job during halftime of a Week 4 loss to the New York Jets during the 2022 season. He didn’t put up eye-popping numbers, but showed a knack for putting together late rallies, including wins over Baltimore and Oakland late in the 2022 season that offered a glimpse of what Pittsburgh thought he could become.
It never happened. The Steelers were slow for much of the year and decided to fire offensive coordinator Matt Canada just before Thanksgiving. Pickett looked solid in a promising win over Cincinnati under interim offensive coordinator Eddie Faulkner and QBs coach/playcaller Mike Sullivan. Still, Pickett hit his ankle while scrambling against Arizona the following week and had surgery.
By the time the ankle healed, the Steelers had caught fire under Rudolph and Pickett spent the final two weeks as Rudolph’s backup.
The spotlight won’t be nearly as bright for Pickett in Philadelphia, which already has an established starter in Hurts.
