Kendrick Lamar’s new album does not feature Taylor Swift after claims he was working with his Bad Blood partner again
Kendrick Lamar surprised and delighted fans when he dropped his latest album GNX out of the blue today.
The twelve-track album features a slew of contributors, including SZA, Jack Antonoff and Kamasi Washington.
He dropped the album without any promos or fuss, only posting a single image on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) to let fans know.
On the new album, Kendrick, 37, takes aim at the Lil Wayne Super Bowl sweetheart and debuts a new chapter of the ongoing diss track back-and-forth battle with Drake, called Heart Pt. 6.
One heavily rumored collaboration is with Taylor Swift, with whom he collaborated on Bad Blood.
Kendrick’s work with Antonoff — who produced Swift’s Midnights and The Tortured Poets Department — gave fans hope that another song could be in the works.
But she’s not on the album.

DJ Snake also added fuel to the fire earlier this week, saying that Swift and Lamar have teamed up for a new song.
But unfortunately, that’s not the case, Swift isn’t on the album, but it hasn’t dampened the fans’ excitement and enthusiasm as many are calling Lamar ‘The GOAT’.
What fans are especially happy about is the surprise release of the entire new album that seemingly comes out of nowhere – no teasers, no advance promotion, no takeover of his social profiles.
It was a real Ninja move for the Not Like Us singer.
On the song Wacced Out Murals, Kendrick discusses his Super Bowl Halftime performance and how many fans think the job should have gone to Lil Wayne since the game is played in his hometown of New Orleans.
“I bumped into Tha Carter 3, I held my Rollie chain proud / Irony, I guess my hard work let Lil Wayne down,” he raps. “I have the Super Bowl and Nas is the only one congratulating me, all these n*****s are excited, I’m just happy to see it on their faces.”
Now that SZA has been included in the songs Luther and Gloria, she is also now rumored to be a featured performer for Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime show, according to a fan account on X.

Another fan countered this, calling Lamar the “man of the decade”
One user wrote, “Kendrick completely ignores Drake’s diss track and drops the Heart Pt. 6 makes me want to fry anyway,” and added a video of a man laughing
Many fans brought up Drake in their comments, adding that Kendrick won the rap battle and Drake cowered in shame.

Dodger Blue is another song on GNX that pays tribute to the 2024 World Series champions and features lyrics that Angelenos can relate to.
“Don’t say you hate LA if you don’t travel past 10.”
