While it came as a surprise to the burgeoning Aussie business, it’s not entirely coincidental, as the co-director’s partner is the director of a marketing agency that worked on an ad featuring 818.

Sam Pearce, co-director of Frame Creative advertising agency in Adelaide, is married to Vanessa Pearce, creative director of The Wolf Gang.

Frame Creative worked on an ad campaign for 818 in LA, where Kendall received a grooming kit from The Wolf Gang, including the Palermo Knit Jumper.

“The shoot director at 818 told Kendall to bring something cozy and they would style it, and she picked our sweater organically,” Ms Pearce told Adelaide Now.

“It’s absolutely surreal, for her it’s so special to love the piece.”

The champagne sweater, with oversized black swirls, is described by the brand as the ‘cult sweater’ that ‘goes with everything’.
