Kendall Jenner brags about her ‘really good’ lime chopping skills as she cooks with Hailey Bieber
She was famously mocked after struggling to slice a cucumber on The Kardashians last year.
Still, Kendall Jenner had clearly brushed up on her knife skills as she expertly sliced a lime in half while performing on boyfriend Hailey Bieber’s cooking show.
The 27-year-old reality star was a guest on the latest episode of the YouTube series What’s in my kitchen?, in which she teaches Hailey, 26, how to layer dip.
While the “cooking” element was sparse in the dish—which consisted of making guacamole before topping it with pre-made toppings—Kendall was clearly quite proud of her efforts.
As she sliced open a lime to add to the guacamole seasoning, an impressed Kendall exclaimed, “wow, that was really good!”

Hailey was equally impressed, turning to the camera and remarking, “Guys, I blocked her pork chop, but it was a beautiful chop,” as Kendall agreed, “that was fresh.”
Encouraged by her new skills, Kendall chided Hailey for the way she sliced an avocado while still holding it in her hand.
“I never do it like that, I just roll it around [the chopping board]she advised, as Hailey admitted, “Yeah, that’s probably a lot safer.”
After successfully making the guacamole, the pair spread a thin layer of store-bought sour cream over the top, but Hailey had trouble adding it evenly.
The next difficult task was grating cheese for the dip, while Hailey moaned, “I’m definitely getting an arm workout!” But I feel really determined because I know it will be worth it.”
Kendall then revealed that it was mom Kris Jenner who taught her how to make the dip, but she put her own spin on it by not adding any extra toppings to the three-layer dish.
To wash down their chips and dip creation, the pair made a passion fruit spritz cocktail.
The culinary demonstration comes after Kendall had to be rescued by her family chef after she made a crazed attempt to slice up a cucumber.

The supermodel found herself at the center of an online stir back in November when her less-than-stellar culinary skills were put on full display in front of the cameras.
In the episode, the owner of the tequila brand was visiting her momager Kris’ sprawling mansion in Calabasas when she decided she wanted a snack.
Rejecting Kris’ offer to let the family’s professional chef prepare something for her – insisting that she would “make it herself” and that chopping cucumber would be “easy” – Kendall proceeded to slice up the fruit, bending her arms around her in a very clumsy way, while her mother watched in bewilderment.
When Kendall admitted that she was “not a good cutter” and that she was “a little scared” of the knife, Kris promptly yelled at the chef and asked them to come in and “cut this for her.”
The hilarious moment was warmly received on social media, where people were very quick to mock the reality star for her lack of kitchen skills.
Kendall was initially upset by the backlash surrounding her slashing blunder, but she soon accepted it and mocked the incident by dressing up as a cucumber slice for Halloween.
Kendall’s appearance marked the fourth episode of what’s in my kitchen? after Hailey launched the venture in January.
In a press release, per The Hollywood Reporterthe supermodel herself explained that the show is a “natural spin-off” from her other YouTube series, Who’s In My Bathroom?, where she also ate yummy treats with her celebrity guests.
“I’ve loved cooking and sharing meals with friends on my social channels for years, and I can’t wait to bring this experience to the fans of our network with OBB and HexClad,” said the businesswoman.
Justin Bieber’s wife teamed up with OBB Media to create the new series, with HexClad sponsoring the project.
“Creating new formats and IP for my channel gives me a lot of power as my team and I can really create anything from concept to screen and I can’t wait for everyone to see what’s next,” Hailey said further in a declaration.
The star started her own YouTube channel just over two years earlier, in March 2021, and has since gained a staggering 2 million subscribers.
The new series will also prioritize giving back to the community, with the model using ingredients provided by the nonprofit Community Services Unlimited’s women-run Village Market Place, the outlet said.
The nonprofit’s goal is “to create communities that actively work to address the inequalities and systemic barriers that make sustainable communities and self-reliant lifestyles unattainable,” the nonprofit said. official website.
