Kendall Jenner revealed she’s had a “tough two months” as she detailed her two-decade battle with anxiety in a candid new interview.
The model, 28, opened up about her ongoing anxiety battle and the unique way she tackles mental health issues in a new shoot with Fashion.
Kendall oozed confidence in a slew of stunning snaps for Vogue’s Summer 2024 issue, but admitted she was actually “sadder” than usual.
She explained: ‘I don’t see why I shouldn’t be honest about it. In my career right now I feel very stable, really hopeful. But I’ve had a tough two months.
‘I haven’t been myself, and my friends see it. I’m sadder than usual. I am much more anxious than usual. So I’m not going to sit here and pretend everything is perfect. That’s life. I will always be in and out of those feelings.”

She continued, “For me, getting out of bed in the morning and putting one foot in front of the other is so helpful. Moving, getting my blood flowing.
‘If I say I’m having a hard time right now, I’m not doing those useful things. If I choose to sit in bed and mope all day, that’s a failure.”
The supermodel is a mental health advocate and has been very open about her struggles with anxiety for years on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and her social media platforms.

Along with depression, anxiety is one of the most common mental health conditions in Britain, affecting 8.2 million people in 2013 alone.
Approximately 40 million adults in the US suffer from the condition each year.
Kendall’s main goal in discussing how anxiety has affected her life is to help de-stigmatize the negative correlation between mental health issues and anxiety in the world.
The model has balanced her modeling career and launched her own company, 818 Tequila.
But despite all her recent success, Kendall said, “I definitely have that imposter syndrome of, ‘Wait, this is all happening to me? What did I do to deserve it?’
It comes just days after Kendall attended the star-studded Met Gala in New York City.
Kendall has come under fire from online fashionistas for her claim that she was the “first human” to wear her Givenchy by Alexander McQueen 1999 Met Gala gown.
Kardashian naysayers were then quick to point out that actress Winona Ryder had worn the dress in a 1999 photo for Flaunt magazine.
She explained: ‘I don’t see why I shouldn’t be honest about it. In my career right now I feel very stable, really hopeful. But I’ve had a tough two months.’
“What a scam, it turns out Kendall Jenner isn’t the first to wear this Givenchy by McQueen dress!” one fashion fan raged at X.
“Not sure why Kendall said she was the first person to wear it, she may not have known it was worn before unless Winona’s version isn’t the original,” wrote another.
The supermodel wore the vintage garment to the Met Gala on Monday and boasted that she was the first person to ever wear it during a red carpet interview with Vogue.
“This is Givenchy, it’s archive McQueen from 1999,” she explained to La La Anthony.
“I’m so incredibly honored to wear it. I’m the first person to wear it. It was on a mannequin,” she continued.
“It was a miracle that it fit, it was a miracle that we found it and it just feels that way and I’m so happy.”
Although some fans online suggested that Jenner may have been wearing a replica of the original dress, the model seemed to suggest that it was the original dress.
“The chances of them having it available were pretty slim, and the odds of it fitting me were pretty slim, and I couldn’t do any tailoring, I couldn’t do anything, and it just fit perfectly,” she said.
However, one fan suggested it might have been Winona wearing a replica, and not Jenner.

“If Winona’s is a custom replica, that’s insane because of the amount of beading and work it would have taken,” they wrote.
Givenchy has backed Jenner’s comments and released an official statement declaring that the reality star is indeed the first person to wear the archive garment.
“Look 14 HC FW99 was not worn in the past and was only presented on a bust,” the luxury fashion house said.
‘Since then, the dress has been kept in the Givenchy archives until the MET Gala. It has never been presented before and it goes back to the Givenchy archives.”
They added: ‘The dress took 500 hours to embroider by hand, using more than 100,000 beads and sequins.’
Vogue Summer 2024 Issue will be available on newsstands nationwide from May 21.
